What is it going to take to get you to move to Virtue today?

I moved an Emp to help Sentry4 with his PvP efforts and I have a TA/PSy I am incarnating but oddly enough I have found it quite difficult to find Open and non ERP RP over there...so I hardly ever log in to Virtue.

This isn't my experience at all.

Well, aside from Virtue being packed.

Freedom is the same as it ever was.
My other servers also seem the same as they ever were- never super active high pop destinations, but with their own communities and appeal to longtime residents.

Virtue is a terrific server for easy teaming, plus I like the effort a lot of the RP'ers put into their characters costumes and back stories. I'd recommend anyone without a character there make one- it's a vibrant, busy, fun place.

But so is Freedom, although you'll tend to end up teaming with more ss/fire tanks that hit 'random' at creation than carefully outfitted characters with elaborate backstories.

And I still love my original server Triumph, which has never been a population powerhouse but has always had a tight, friendly community...and still does.

Justice suits me fine -- it's populated enough that I can find a team if I want one, and the people are generally nice. No reason to move.

I'm on Victory, because that's where me and my friends played when my friends played this game.

I have to stay here, on the off-chance that one of them comes back.

Besides, it's where I keep all my stuff! (In the inherited SG base, of course.)

I have characters filling the default slots on Victory, Virtue, Freedom and Exalted. I've bought (or VIP-rewarded) and filled extra slots on each of them except for Exalted.

I'd move my Victory and Exalted characters over to Virtue and/or Freedom if doing so didn't lose me my character names, though in the case of Victory it would be with some regret as I've been there since beta. Both of those servers are pretty close to dead at the times I play (I gather Victory picks up a bit about 2 hours after I go to bed) and I dislike soloing, so that'd be my incentive, but not at the cost of having to pick new names for characters I've had for years.

I think if I could somehow transfer my base and all it's contents easily I'd push to carry my SG over to Virtue. Luckily Pinnacle has a pretty dug in core and teams are fairly easy to get through the global channels. That and I've been on Pinn since around issue 3.

I hope for one or the other to show up at some point, though I have a suspicion the former would be limited to teamup teleporter trials, and the latter tends to provoke extended arguments about non-unique names.

I live there already. I don't have any more slots available there. :-)

I once moved an entire VG and a huge list of characters from Guardian to Justice. Best decision ever. To do it again? There would have to be a giant sale on Server Slots... and free transfers again.

And then I would move all of my Infinity Characters to Justice too.

so I guess some questions would be:

If you could move your characters for free (and keep their names) to another server would you do it?

If you could move your SG and its base to another server would you do it?

If you're in Michigan, why do you have a stylized Geisel Library in your icon?

I really WANT to like Virtue, because it is so active... but I haven't found it to be particularly friendly. Not to say it's hostile, just that I haven't found any friendships there, and I'm overrun with them on Protector.

Champion for life. Because we are the champions, no time for losers. And also my SG plays there and they really are my friends.

I'll always be a "Champion" at heart. My server away from home.

No. No. Triumph is good for me. Low lag. Great teams and folks. Not scared to walk into Pocket D with local chat and broadcast open.

I remember spending many an hour studying (and hanging out) in that library. Although that was before it was called the Geisel Library (i.e. before they built the new addition with Suess money).

On topic: I mostly solo or play with friends who already play on the servers I use, so server population is not a big issue for me, and certainly not a reason to move chracters. I have characters spread across half a dozen servers and if I were start migrating them, I'd move them to Justice where my largest and best base is (but until I come into a bunch of free slots and transfer tokens I won't be making any mass migrations any time soon).

I have characters on all servers except Zukunft and Vigilance. I can't "move to Virtue"; there isn't nearly enough room. And even if I could, I like being on the other servers, not just one. Different people, different server cultures, and less crowding.

Time was, Guardian had an excellent and thriving population. That was about two years ago. Nowadays you can't even run iTrials on Guardian because the server population is so low.

I have recently seen three other Guardianites on Virtue, as in they brought their mains to Virtue because you can't get a team on Guardian. This was with no prompting from me btw.... just every now and then, I look up in Dark Astoria and there is another famous face from Guardian standing on the platform in front of the hospital, waiting for their trial to queue.

"Hey, aren't you VeryFamousPlayerWhoKnowsWhatTheyreDoing from Guardian?"

"Yup thats me :-)"

"If I might ask, what happened? Pop too low?"

"That's pretty much it. Server's completely dead."

"Heard that. Anyhoo, welcome to Virtue. Good to see you." etc

Perhaps you run with a very tight and active SG on Guardian. For those of us who dont.....ghost town. *cue tumbleweeds*

Im a speed sf addict, itf 11 mins, tin 16, apex 18, lgtf 22 mins, lrsf 23 mins. A majority of virtue teams prefer to kill all and if I try to form a speed run, half the members are still trying to kill all. Why join a speed run and ignore the leaders instructions?
Freedom redside has what I need. Beware freedom blueside. There are a lot of immature and entitlement-seeking players there. Note that this doesnt mean all blue players are teenieboppers running wild. If one is from a low pop server, expect to encounter immature players more often.

I started out on Freedom. I moved to Pinnacle for a while, and when the SG I was in there died out I moved back. Freedom (still) has a high population, with none of the baggage I associate with a RP server. It's the best fit for me.
