R-Type was a game, wasn't it? Someone had to program that. Maybe he's working for Paragon Studios now!
It was a joke Positron mentioned in an article about wanting to do a graphics upgrade for the game. In it, he said he was looking for two R-type programmers (R-Type is an old side-scrolling platform game from the 80's).
But he's also presumably looking for graphics people for real.

Base on that page, R-Type might be their in-joke synonym for "hardcore," meaning they're hiring some hardcore programmers, which would make sense if they're in charge of doing a graphical overhaul.
