Hmm, maybe Rocky Horror Picture Show? I know a few people who definitely had life changing experiences due to that one.
Or certain Monty Python films like Holy Grail. Had some college buddies who would give up social nights to watch it again ... every. single. night. -
I got a new kitten last night.
He demands all my attention. I think he saw me log in for a few minutes while my girlfriend distracted him. I thought wrong. Apparently he has Kitty Legal Defense on speed dial and called in a "favor". -
Quote:The coming storm arrived?
Why go thermonuclear and shut the game down? -
My current plan: 1 accuracy. That's all.

Oppressive Gloom is hilarious with stone melee Fault. I used to run entire missions without getting attacked once, on a brute.
-
This reminds me, I still need to check out bonfire+proc.
But yea, freezing rain all the way. -
Make a dom, let it charge up, but don't actually click domination. You'll be nice and sparkly.
Edit: added smiley. -
Quote:It would probably have some excessively lame drawback, like sticking a stupid looking spider leg backpack on your second build.
how much would you pay to be able to dual build with different powersets? -
I'll let someone else check if Golden Shower is still available.

Back before the days of costume change emotes, I took Lightning Clap on a blaster to use when changing costumes. Neat effect for that. I don't recall ever using it effectively in combat though, anytime I felt threatened I flew away a bit instead.

Quote:Thankfully, the knockback IO just showed up, and snipe/nuke changes are coming soon. Plus more range on cosmic burst! Perhaps this set will be more popular soon enough.Besides all this, there are three attacks people may avoid in it: electron haze with its knockback, and then there's the snipe/nuke that folks find too situational.
I'll dust off my rad/fire blaster, and I'm working on a new rad/dark. -
Quote:No problem. I did a double check through all my characters (they were spread out over several characters).I do want to verify with Johnny Kilowatt that he got 12 acc/dmg/end drops, that's fairly remarkable. Just making sure that wasn't a typo.
Upon closer inspection, one of them was a quad. So only eleven acc/dam/end. Sorry I missed that. -
And here I was, wondering what I could drop on my Fire^3 to make room for bonfire, snipe, and aura. With a crashless nuke, I can safely drop consume, as that's all I ever used it for.

Acc/Dmg 0
Acc/Dmg/End 12
Acc/Dmg/End/Rch 0
Dmg/Proc 1
Dmg/End/Rch 1
End/Rch 0
Screw this. Off to the market I go. -
I'm very happy with this result.
Hmm, now to fit bonfire, the snipe, and blazing aura back into my Fire^3 blaster ... -
Oddly enough, I did have an old blaster with the single-target taunt (for giggles).
... Is there where I'm supposed to spaz out OMG THEY'RE TAKING MY POWERS AWAY! DOOOOOOOOOM!
Maybe not. -
When discussing level 50 enemies, how likely is "no resists" the case though?
I'm sure I'll still rock freakshow if nothing else. -
The main problem I've run into when using a blaster to farm is how much everything runs away. Even using a secondary with a damage aura, apparently it's not the same thing as a real aggro aura. It's a shame since blasters can kill stuff so fast, but nothing stays bunched up to effectively do it.
While yes, it can be done, I find it to be more trouble than it's worth. -
Oddly enough Nova is the only example where I'd rather have more damage with the crash, due to the knockback involved. Scattered not-quite-dead enemies, ick.
The point-blank nature of most nukes really never bothered me, since I activate them mid-jump and am at least 40 feet away once the rooting immobilizes me. (the instant acceleration of combat jumping really helps to in-and-out this way). -
You could always do this, all it took was a room corner. It's even more hilarious with floating enemies like Illusionists, they just sort of flip around in the corner.

This is something I posted in the Blaster forum last month or so, but it applies to burn so why not:
1) Find a minion. Eliminate his buddies if he's not alone first.
2) Beanbag.
3) Say in your best Saw voice, "Now we're going to play a little game. Can you stumble out of this oven before you cook to a crisp?" Use ignite on them.
4) If the minion manages to wander out and escape, go back into your Saw voice, "Whoops, wrong way." Drop a burn patch on them. -
Targeting through a teammate can be useful if you have to draw distance turned down for performance reasons.

So, this doesn't include single-target mezz powers in blast primaries with less than 80 range?
For example, Beanbag or Tesla Cage.
