got my main from Union's name reserved. Monarcher. Haven't bothered getting it on other servers as I don't play on them, and if I do, I can always come up with new toons. Missed out on a couple I was after; Blackbird, to be a Batman type with a more avian costume and Bullet Time, which, honest, I didn't think I'd get, but Quick Shot works just fine for me for my Time/Pistols guy.

@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

I got my global name Ultimus so I am happy. Also got all of my character's name including Thanatos and Vorador.

I also got the name "Brad Pitt" since I thought that was kind of funny.

I got several names that I specifically wanted and for which I have characters actively planned and soon to be played. Yay new powersets and powerset proliferation!

When the European servers merged with the North American servers, there was a name which I wanted very much to acquire. Alas, those servers not being brand-new entities, my sought-after name was already taken. The funny thing is (funny being a relative term) the name was taken on all the different servers by different players, save one who had the name on 2 servers, and none of them ever responded to my attempts at contact.

So I pined after my little name year upon year (in the process making dozens of characters with names much more original and dynamic), and finally captured it last evening. Ahhh...

tl;dr version:

I got the name I'd really wanted for a very long time.

Most of mine... aren't hard to get. *shrug*

However, was reasonably happy to get Theorum and Temporal Mechanic. And the (correct spelling) of one of my characters on another server (who has dropped Force Field for some killing power in Fire, and is now a dominator.. dominatrix?) Irresistible Force.

Someone else took "Dinah Might" before I logged in, but after using the /getglobalname command he was kind enough to release it to me.

I only planned on grabbing 2 (Battleborne & Striking Beauty), but ended up filling up. I've already started playing the Horseman, finally getting a good name for a concept I've had for ages. Names I left behind: Burn Victim, Deadnaught, Cannibal, Avarice, Anna Chronos. I've never had issues finding good names, but this was a nice chance to get 'first choice' names. Wrecking Ball and Mourning Star have been at the top of my 'want' list since I started playing on Virtue, and it nice to have them.

I got the name I really cared about getting, which was Desi Nova, which is my global, though the char with it is just a placeholder until they issue the server transfer tokens. I also got the name of the character I plan on Transfering to force a Rename when that time comes

I got my global, Tidbit, and a few favorite characters - Kid Ultimate, my favorite villain, Corrupt Pigg, my homage to iTrial crashing, Slaughter House, and a few more.

I also leveled a character high enough to claim the name of the only SG of the 4 I own that I created.

I was able to get all of my signature character names. Anything else was gravy.

Now I know where Time Bandit went. I had it queued up, but snagged a name for someone else. By the time I got back in, it was taken.
