  10. I'd be fine with it as long as you find a way to bring blasters on par with other ATs.

    Others are already getting everything blasters are getting in I24 and more.

    You can't fix an AT by giving everyone else the same advantage!
  11. It's gonna depend what you're doing. TM isn't worth using on a fast moving team. Acid Mortar and PGT are about all I lay down on speeds, then I start in with Howl and Shockwave for more debuff and some KD.

    Solo, small mobs or even 1/8 setting. I like the slight delay after you drop a TM because it allows you to queue and cast FFG before it triggers. If you have SS and a stealth IO this works great. Then PGT while they're on their backs and you may have time for another TM

    Solo, +4/8 spawns never lay your mines in a straight line or all in one area. Mobs almost never travel at the same pace so you might get one or 2 baddies out ahead of the pack to take all the damage. I like to find a corner or object (LoS)to set up as my defensive point. From there I drop as many TM/ PGT as I think I need, and can usually have 2 TBs and 2 AMs out all the time, turn the corner and continue to drop a few more TMs leading up to the mob. This will allow the first part of the mob to take damage without setting off all the mines. If you're trying to pull the whole mob don't drop any PGT outside of where you want to fight them.

    I'd suggest dumping Shout with it's current cast time. It's just not worth it. Shockwave is much more usefull. With a high recharge build you can spam Shriek and Scream as a single target attack chain.

    I like the ATO set in Scream due to it recharge, usefull if you're on a team light on heals.

    I may respec into Dreadful Wail when I24 hits, but right now I'm using the build with Shockwave.

  12. One thing I like about the defender ATO set is its minor heal, it fires often, and when ya pair it with Triage Beacon you're pretty well covered.

    Being so near the soft cap to everything I find my favorite Destiny power on a Traps to be Ageless, resist to debuff covers you for DA content, and what Traps doesn't like more recharge.

    Time has great defense, it prolly has the edge in ease of use since FFG can be a PITA, but Time can't touch Traps when it comes to some status protection and debuffing.

    You can slot a Numina regen/recovery in both IIRC. I agree, TB isn't something I'd consider in my build. It'd take some real effort to get me to rethink a crashless nuke (I24 build) for TB. I'd bet it's not high on the list.

    I know, dead horse. I didn't do a search for it, but I'd really like to see Dark Regeneration be more along the lines of Drain Psyche. At least FA and EA get something for end recovery, and both have decent AoE damage. Throw the darn set a bone guys

    Heh. I'd dare say it is. "The Best Farmer" thread is an example of the imbalance of ATs. How can an AT, do so much damage, so easily, with so little risk, while an AT that should be (by definition) doing more damage, is pretty much a joke.

    Snipes, goodgreef. Please define, if you can, how changing them would make the AT any better.

    And Nukes. Burn is an easy example of an 8 second recharge PBAoE crashless nuke while you have defense, resist and mez protection.

    Some people on the forums seem to like to dismiss the disparity that blasters have with other ATs to suit their own logic. Would ya like some more coolaid with that round of BS? Are we playing the same (end) game?

    Blasters have been kicked to the curb.

    Most on the boards would like you to at least make an effort and post one of your own first. People here are happy to advise or point you in the right direction, they tend to shy away from people that just want it handed to them.

    There are also many variations on builds. You need to specify what you desire to do with your corr, solo, team play?

    Play with mids a bit. Look for sets that benefit you by giving you end bonuses, recharge, -tohit and defense.

    Just takes bit of practice.

    You got it. To give you an idea of what we're talking about go up to a Rikti Pylon with your FFG out. Of course a Pylon is not a deal breaker by any means. I can still solo one easy without pets on my Traps/Sonic. But, you'll be recasting it a lot.

    Do that, and then imagine large mobs with KB and AoE damage.

    Or just try a Nem invasion. It's humbling.

    Edit: BTW, before anyone points out the obvious leadership stacking with Nemesis, I am aware of it.
  24. Is there any way we can get our FFG to share our characters set bonuses with this thing. Any time there's lots of KB or AoE it pretty much makes FFG a joke.

    I was on a Nem raid today and I died more times than I have in a month. Can we get a fricking bone here!

    BTW, let me tie a string to my ADD challenged sidekick!
