So what names did you all manage to get or not get?

I've always liked Vesuvius and wanted to get it, but it was a week in when I remembered, and it was already too late.

I have Retrogirl and Cogsworthy. I'm happy.

What I really hate is seeing people get 12 names, of which maybe 3 will actually get played more than a couple days. The rest is just the player being a jerk.

I've actually been pretty successful with names, I only had 1 I didn't get and I just modified it. Which, actually, is my forum name. Agent White was taken on the server, so I just modified it to Whitefox.

I just let go of a name for maybe 10 seconds and now the name is taken by someone else? What I find even more interesting is that the name is the global for someone? Didn't someone else mention here that when they let a name go it was immediately taken and the thought was that maybe two people had the same name and that when the person tried re-rolling it, that person lost it? I think the same thing just happened to me!

I also managed to get Army Girl and Synthesize which I'm really happy about

I didn't think I'd get Firefighter for my street justice/fire brute, but I managed to get Smokejumper, which is cooler in my opinion (and his costume is one of my better ones). I also got Kinetic Fist, which ironically is on another steet fighting character, not a kinetic melee character. And finally, I got Aegis Creed for a shield/you guessed it, street justice, tanker. I'm holding out on some good ones for titan weapons.

Managed to snag my global and a couple others that are my mains.
Breathe (my cold) Sorrows (tried to grab Sorrow but someone was faster then me on that one ), Lament, Fragmental, Bemused (Mind/Emp), Treasure, Lyra, and oddly enough just grabbed Stratosphere. Pretty happy over all.

Scrambling onto the Exalted server from a hotel room in a foreign country in the wee hours of the night, I managed to snag my forum name straight away and later transferred my main to Exalted. After four years he finally has his name spelled right. Over several days I also got a few other names that came to mind:

Airhead (woo!)
Altruist (just seemed important)
Arbitrage (An arbiter... in France!)
Bang Galore (in case my other main wants to move from Infinity. Probably won't happen)
Cream (The one colour I want on CoH. Faked with lightest yellow and white mesh photographed from a distance)

A little while later I met a supergroup full of turtles, so I needed a turtle! Or three.

Turnturtle - evil turtle turned good, already level 40
PPD Shell - good turtle cop -> bad turtle cop. Turtle-speeding to level 6
Turtleneck - a hot turtle chick with a posse of overprotective "guy friends". Having fun at the expense of others to Level 11

There was only one character name I tried for but missed, having taken days to think of it: Tungsten.
