I got Fimbulwinter for my new Ice/Time Corruptor; the only server it wasn't taken on last I checked.

I got my global name secured.

I managed to get the six names of most of the characters I thought I'd transfer/play, plus my first 50.
The two exceptions were Gyrfalcon or Chiaroscuro, both of which I'd wanted so I could transfer characters. I'll just keep playing them on their home servers.

'Got a strange bug to make a plant dom this morning... and managed to snag the name Bonsai for him. I was both pleased and surprised that no one else had gotten to that name yet. (And he's awfully cute with his leafy hair and samurai armor.

We managed to secure our globals (the bf actually reserved Darque for me, as well as getting his namesake Wyld Chyld)
Those two will be played once Street Justice goes live, and are re-makes of our Infinity duo.
I was happy to nab Idris (time/sonic).
And together, we got Wibbly-Wobbly and Timey-Wimey
And I got Felistricity, who was promptly transferred to fill the name as soon as it went live.
Sadly, the bf's Chronal Anomaly was already taken, so he used Chronal Anomalies
Beyond that, there weren't too many I tried to get.

In preparation for what I assumed would be a furious spastic scramble for names, I made a list of 12 names I would attempt to secure. This was so I wouldn't sit there wasting time at the character screen trying to remember what names I was trying for. I even ordered my list from most important to least.
Then I added about a dozen more names to that list because I figured I might not get all of the original 12.
Then a few days later the spastic frenzy began.
I got none of the names I tried for, none of my original 12 on the list, nor any of the extra names I added to my list.
And that was during the first hour that the server went live.
Congratulations to folks who acquired the names they wanted.

Normally, I don't have to worry about competition for names since apparently the ones I tend to chose aren't exactly in demand, but I am pleased that I got "Bonfire Knight" and "The Walking Shadow".
