    25-378 could be AL-ERT

I leave the rest for you to figure out.

Sure made the last couple months a lot more convenient.
    What does it do?

    Vindicated!

In the last coffee talk Aeon said that he would have wanted to turn the stars ratings into "likes". I feel somewhat vindicated.

I hadn't even thought about that but yeah, it's an idea.

BubbaWheat have asked me to say thanks and that he's been reading but can't post.
  7. I'll try to play as much as possible so if this happens count me in.

Shout out in the MA Arc Finder channel as usual?
  8. Thanks for all the awesome stuff. I think I spent 2 years of coh just playing AE arcs, or making them, or talking about them, or talking about making them. Now I won't get to update Project Dragon with new Tsoo. :/ And I won't get to make an AE version of the Cats musical. Ok, that's probably for the best...

    Thanks again.

    I'll see you around.

That's the most brilliant thing I ever saw.
  10. I wonder why we can't have invisible bodyparts and heads.

Make a floating torso with invisible legs.

Make a ghost with invisible everything except an aura.

    Make a floating head!

Make a new "punching" powerset with invisible claws.

    And so on.
  11. Happy birthday!

today is best birthday because it's also mine
  12. I would be happy if I could just use the same name for more than one character, if I already "own" the "original". So I could use the same name for all the alts that are supposed to be the same person.

That Captain Mako story was awesome. I'm looking forward to read the next few episodes. Well done!

Good luck with your future career.

You think anyone is going to leave over this?
  15. Good for you, I guess, but are we supposed to feel good about such blatant pay-to-win foolishness?

Whatever brings in the money, I suppose.

That's probably correct. The way the objectives were chained made it impossible to mark them as optional. Or maybe I didn't want to destroy the formatting of the navbar, I can't remember right now. I'll check it out and see what I can do about it.
  17. Thanks for the review of Arena.

Krylov's missing dialog in mission 1 is probably due to certain hostages saying their lines as soon as the mission loads - he's supposed to talk.

I'm also pretty sure that the Arbiter fight in the last mission is optional but I could be wrong. All you should have to do in that mission is fight Castle and everything else should be optional.

    D&D Next

And so did fighters in 3rd edition until about level 9 or 10, when casters of all kinds became all-powerful. I suppose if casters remain anemic at all levels in D&D Next it will actually manage to disappoint everyone. But why remove things like feats and other ways to customize your character? Casters will at least be allowed to pick spells (supposedly) but where are the options for non-casters?

Maybe things will be different when character creation rules are being playtested but I fear they will be one sentence: "Pick your pregenerated character."

    D&D Next

Strangely, D&D Next seems to be a huge step backwards.

Maybe it'll improve with more expansions to bring back things that were introduced in D&D 3 and 4, such as feats and balance between the classes.

For everyone who thought those uppity fighters should be delegated to carrying treasure and blocking doorways so the wizards could get the job done, D&D Next is going to be great.

But those people have probably already left for Pathfinder so I don't know who's supposed to play this game.
  20. It would be better if Taskmaster Gabriel handed out the arcs after you've done them once, and that they worked like normal missions.
  21. Hush. This thread deserves to be stickied so don't get it deleted.
  22. Thanks for the review!

The Outcasts as heroes builds on a throw-away comment some early CoH contact makes where he mentions that the Outcasts are in Boomtown handing out fines for traffic violations to citizens. Nowadays we have Frostfire going rogue so many times it's hard to keep track, so I don't think it's a stretch to imagine that some of the other Outcasts want to do something similar.

I will have to check the info for the bosses, I was pretty sure they had descriptions when I made the arc. Might have been lost in a patch somewhere. I might fiddle with their powers too.

The confusion about Desdemona handing out ghost helpers comes from me trying to switch contact on you for that mission; it's actually the CoT mage who does most of the talking and provides the amulet to control his ghost servants. I tried to make it clearer with different colored text but I suppose it could be improved.
  23. Once again I wish that they had not bothered with the "echo" version in Ouroboros. Instead they should have done one of three things:

    1. Kept the Talos entrance and let it lead to the old version of the zone. At level 20-29 Mot hasn't awakened yet. This is the standard "levelling up means time passes" method of storytelling we've seen since day one. The new zone would be accessible through the portals as usual.

    2. Kept the Talos entrance as above but let people choose which version of DA they want to enter when they click the guards.

    3. Use the dynamic zone tech to display an open door leading to the old version of DA to non-incarnates, and a closed heavily guarded door to incarnates, possibly with an npc standing there to explain what has happened and to refer the visitor to the upcoming TUNNEL entrances.

Not so much a complaint as wonderment about what suddenly made them "fix" this. I'm genuinely curious.
