Good for you, I guess, but are we supposed to feel good about such blatant pay-to-win foolishness?

There is no way to win this game.
How another player plays their game, when it has no affect on your game, should not matter in the least to you. There is no way to win this game.
The only thing that's really worth it is the 5% def and mag4 mez, the rest is silly piddly crap. I can get that stuff off inventions, and don't have to spend money to do it. (I can get the 5% def off inventions too, but I don't tend to build that way)

Personally, the kind of difference you're getting from Amplifiers seems nowhere near worth it for 960 (320x3) points per 8 hours. If you're happy with the results, awesome, don't let me get you down. I just mean that for me specifically, if I were going to spend that many points on temporary buffs, I'd rather have a huge pile of Precise and Protected inspirations, and maybe a few Greater Protection Imbuements if it was a character with incomplete mez protection. (Although I know you buy insps *as well*, or at least did at one point. But that's even MORE points than the amount I'm already uninterested in spending on very temporary buffs.) It's technically pay-to-win, but it's such a small and fleeting benefit that I have a hard time getting too upset about it.

Hey, wait a sec, didn't the gods beat the titans? Isn't that a downgrade? (Admittedly, my remembrance of mythology is fuzzy on this one.)
my fire/fire tanks s/l defense and my s/l resistance are both higher without some temp powers help...you need to better your build frankly.
nerd nitpick: wait, the olympic gods beat the titans in thogony.. did you get a downgrade?

I agree with your post completely, but this part made me think of something. From what I can see the Offense Amplifier grants a 10% ToHit bonus. Not Accuracy, but specifically ToHit. I think that might turn out useful for many when the Snipe power changes get put in. Especially for those who don't play all the time, or who don't play blast sets all the time, so they don't have to buy endless supplies of them.

Well I have hasten and Ageless, so my chain works fine. Not to mention my attacks have nearly 90%+ recharge. I tend to focus on Def/Res as I am not farming AE or tips but tanking Incarnate trials and other hard content. |

Nothing better then telling the league in Mag trial you have an IDF army to wipeout as you skip ahead and wipe all the back groups out before they arrive.

Oh here we go again with the pay2win argument.. people truly have no clue what pay2win means if they think amplifiers are pay2win LOL!
Here's a hint.. there is nothing for sale that is pay2win, but many things which come closer to this idea than amplifiers lol.

I have an SS/Fire/Energy Mastery Brute - and do think if you have the inf, you could probably squeeze out a little more recharge and maybe 5% more def for most damage types.
But, as long as you're having a blast, I'd say those are points well spent!

I now understand why your logic behind Bio is as jacked as it is.
Yes I have to brag. My stats are getting MASSIVE and this is before you factor in incarnate powers or things like Barrier, Defense Hybrid, etc. My SS/FA/Soul is nearly full tank with what he's got. Let me share the screenshots and look at how I am nearly softcapped to a lot of various things, how my Psi hole is plugged up, my recharge global is nearly through the roof. (I use Ageless so it gets higher too at times)
Or my own incarnate buffs.
The screenshots of my stats speak for themselves -- Now toss in any team buffs and such I get even more awesome
