  2. Just so long NCSoft wasn't involved again. **** those guys.

I'm guessing it's because he was going for the cheesy pulp serial feeling rather than any form of legitimate high art.
  4. Y'know, viewing the devolution of this thread as it centers on things that GG has said, I've come to realize something....

    She's a fellow black humorist.

I must admit as the gallows draws closer, it's only become more apparent. Bravo, GG. I've should have seen it sooner. It explains so much.

My handy mini map in the screen says PI though.

I noticed it on one of my few ventures Blueside. I bet you guys can find it too.
Then as Golden Girl said, it's likely a bug because I'm pretty sure those trees are essentially the same tree copy-pasta'd all over the place.
  6. Hm... trees don't look like that to me in game.

I'm getting tired of this quibble. It was repeatedly hinted at through the films that because Leia was Luke's sister and Anakin's daughter, she was a Force sensitive. Now, let's go to the dialogue why this was not an inconsistency.

    Quote:
    Princess Leia: Luke, what's wrong?
Luke: Leia, do you remember your mother? Your real mother?
Princess Leia: Just a little bit. She died when I was very young.
    Luke: What do you remember?
Princess Leia: Just... images really. Feelings.

Concentrate... feel the Force flow. Yes. Good. Calm, yes. Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future... the past. Old friends long gone.
  8. I'm sorry, but NCSoft's reputation precedes it. It has not ever revived or sold a property that it has unceremoniously terminated. At the most we can do is inform others of this reputation and broaden the boycott. The sooner they crash in the western market, the better, the ********.

Yeah, I'm not surrendering. NCSoft won't be getting another cent from me. Ever. But the fight is lost. The best we can muster now is the boycott and hope the bastards crash and burn in financial ruin.

Go Gold. You get 8 freeform character slots at the start for only $15 a month. I'd say that's a better deal than paying $50 for one.
  15. Uh yeah, I don't think anyone was claiming otherwise.
  16. As if the red sun wasn't already a crimper?
  17. I suppose they would. As they say, we'll have to read it to find out.
  18. You're going to have to read this to believe it.

    It's pretty cool.

While it was nice to hear that was kicked to the curb, by the time any emulator hits it will be far too late to get any traction beyond with a handful of nostalgia lovers.

Everything dies. Sometimes before they should, sometimes not nearly damn soon enough. I've loved this game. I'm sad to see it die but you can't have life without death.
Always good to meet another cynic (although at times I tend to veer into outright misanthropy). Perhaps we'll meet again. I'm heading over to CO for my superhero fix (since now with CoH gone, it'll be the only superhero MMORPG on the market worth a damn).

This. The boycott used to make companies tremble. It would be nice to see that effect again.

It's all the Holy Rollers on the Internet; they're bringing its score down.

Hm... seems pretty accurate to me.
