Willy Wonka Meme for City of Heroes?

Saw a Willy Wonka meme poster in someone's signature on these forums several weeks ago, saying something about NCSoft(?) having created a city that heroes defended for the past 8 years, and asking what happened when (NCSoft) threatened to destroy their (the heroes') city. I should have saved it when I had the chance, and now I can't find it! Anyone know of the image I'm talking about, and can point me in its direction? I'd be grateful! Thanks!

M. Bison: For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me...it was Tuesday.

McClane: Hey, thanks for saving my daughter's life.
Farrell: What was I going to do?
McClane: That's what makes you "that guy."

Many many thanks, Tim!

I'd wouldn't call that 'winning'. By closing CoH, NCSoft chopped off a source of revenue and demolished their reputation, at least in the West. Given that Aion is bleeding money, Guild Wars sold below expectations, and Boobs and Shame looks awful, I'm thinking that in a year or two the NC execs will be assistant managers at the Korean version of McDonalds. McDogburger or something.

Eh, I'd rather not argue with her to be honest. A few years ago I would've, but I've cooled down a lot since then. Unfortunately the game will pass on the 30th, however, I'm willing to see what the future holds. Emulator? Sure. Revival? Sure. But this current iteration of City of X is going to have a very long rest come 11:59 on the 30th.

Yeah, I'm not surrendering. NCSoft won't be getting another cent from me. Ever. But the fight is lost. The best we can muster now is the boycott and hope the bastards crash and burn in financial ruin.

Man, you're going to be crushed the hardest come December 1st.

Im still in denial, lol

Not able to play again...
I would not hold my breath waiting for CoH to return from ashes with a Resurgence after sunset.
But I would love that so effing much!
It would be risky... Most of players moved away. Not sure how many of them would return, specially if the data is lost.
We will see what happens.

That's more like a pause in the story, not the end

I've come to believe the ones nay-saying are the ones who are crushed the most.

We're still here for you, you know. We have a great community that can help you feel better. If your method of coping is schadenfreude, fine. Just open up, we can help.

@Rien

I am Lord Omi. Now and forever. They can take our City, but they can't take me.

I'm sorry, but NCSoft's reputation precedes it. It has not ever revived or sold a property that it has unceremoniously terminated. At the most we can do is inform others of this reputation and broaden the boycott. The sooner they crash in the western market, the better, the ********.

They've never terminated a game this strong (still profitable, still improving, still generally positively viewed) nor have they ever had this much pushback to a closing. I suspect you're right that no, there won't be a sale - but there are enough differences that it wouldn't be that shocking if there was.
