Quote:I have enjoyed it since the day after CoH was announced it was closing its doors. Lots fo stuff to do. I guess my experience is made better by the fact i have a good group of people to play with. I will miss my superheroes but Guild Wars 2 is doing a job filling my gaming desire.take it from someone who's played GW2 since release. It's no replacement for CoH. It gets old fast, there's nothing even close to the customization both in looks and power choices like there is in CoH, and without those things, what does it have going for it? It's got polish and it's pretty to look at. WvW is a lot lamer than I thought it would be, and there's really no endgame type stuff like CoH has.
I really don't see how anyone coming from this game will enjoy it for long. -

I am actually really enjoying GW2. Did not think I would ever play another fantasy genre after WoW but I am pleased I tried this out.

Quote:Any valid point you were trying to make just got shot to **** with this statement. For you to have your eyes wide open and still make the choice to give them money and in effect your validation for what they have done? Oh yes - I see that as betrayal. Betrayal and selfishness. Because you've decided you'd rather be selfish and choose your own enjoyment and fun over the principled stance. I don't hate you for it. I pity you. Because you've proven not to have the moral understanding necessary to make a principled stance. And in this case, it's so EASY to make the principled stance. But you chose to be selfish.

Very nice. Sad to see it all go.

I got to agree with the OP's video review, it is a pretty well made MMO. Probably one of the best I have ever played (yes, even CoH). I will miss playing my heroes and the casual nature of CoH but this is a fine replacement.

Cool idea Sorah. Really going to miss this game community.

I agree. This 4 player content was created well for the small team. It gave many under-rated powersets time to shine. I love the incarnate trials and 8 man task forces but this is a nice and overdue change. Well done developers.

Blasters - Energy
Controller - Ice
Scrapper - Martial Arts
Defender - Trick Arrow
Banes
Warshades - personal opinion, I have seen people play them well just not a good powerset for me. -

As a tanker, I love the Summer Event. The small team size and the relatively powerful AVs and EBs in the Time Gladiator map makes efficient taunting essential to success again. I really hope they add more short, small team content like this to the game.
Anyone else get the same feeling playing their tanker or was mine just isolated? -
Love them or hate them I miss the Sitting Ducks. They brought alot of character to the forums and PvP Zones.

I totally forgot about this and jumped in near the end. Was fun to PvP with a full zone again. Haven't done that in years.

Did something change in the earlier trials that they need testing??

It does not happen that often so it should not be such a big deal.

I made my first /EA scrapper yesterday with the Staff primary. Happy to see all these positive reviews of the set. I am at 29 now so will stick with it to 50.

Quoted for truth. Castle drove away so many PvPers and the desire to PvP from those that stayed. Prior to his changes I would see hundreds PvPing in the zones and Arenas almost daily. SGs would hold Arena Events and RP groups would hold zone PvP events. On Virtue we had a very long running Friday Night Fights event that was very well attended.
I miss it.
