That's real world physics Let's leave the real world out of the costumes

That said, still prefere Harley in her original outfit.

Some interesting official comments regarding Batgirl from 2009. Like they said in Lost - everything changes!

Man, that cover has me flashing back to the 90's in the worst way. From Harley's "we're-not-even-TRYING-to-deny-it-anymore" fan-service costume, to her dyed hair and KISS makeup, to the extra gear on Deadshot that would have Cable giving him envious looks.

It reminds me of the G.I. Joe Extreme toyline; where they all looked like steroid deformed wrestlers.

Oog, i was half hoping that wasn't Deadshot even though i knew it was. Still, he's much more of a gentleman in this version; he's even sporting a steel corset of his own to show solidarity with Quinn.

Dr. Todt's theme.

All those comments on the new Harley costume...but it just dawned on me.

Who can blame them? That Harley costume looks like half the costumes you see in use in CoH.

The cover to the "new" Action comics. Looks like Supes will be protecting "the Americian way" as well....

The NY Post also states that the DC Relaunch “nullifies” the issue of Superman renouncing his American citizenship.

Just read that not only will Superman be single again in the reboot, Jonathan and Martha Kent will also be dead again.

Also, they will be emphasizing the "alien loner" factor in Superman again.

Man, everything old is new again ...

I'm not happy about the Superman changes

heck I'm not happy about a lot of the changes

But I think I am still giving it a shot. Just 1 shot though. They get 1 issue to prove that this is worth doing

The first thing you think of when you see black and white facepaint is KISS? Oy. Must be a generational thing.

Anyway, ANYTHING is better than Deadshot's previous abomination of a costume.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

interesting in some aspects and yet strange.....

game over...

I think that sums up how i feel about DC at this point. They've lost the path and they don't see the cliff they're walking straight towards.

Since I pretty much gave up on Marvel some time ago, Power Girl and Batgirl have been the two comics that have kept me going back to the comic book shop. Both have been relatively self-contained books, without a lot of the Big Damn Deal crossover BS that I have come to absolutely HATE. I've been picking up Zatanna, Flash, JLA, and Journey Into Mystery (or Thor, or whatever the heck it is) as well, but without PG and Batgirl to anchor it all... meh.

Maybe I'm just getting too old for this.

That would be Newsrama's "wishlist" of stories they want to see folded into the new DCU.

The only ones of those I actually see any chance of being folded in are the Books of Magic, Milestone and maybe the Golden Age (as part of the secret history of the nDCU).

The rest, highly unlikely. (They even point out how unlikely it is that Watchmen will be folded into the nDCU)

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)

This is obviously Bob Harras's work. Look how he screwed over Marvel and nearly destroyed it in the 1990's.

How may you ask? Fired his best writers off of the books they made popular i.e. Peter David from Hulk & Chris Claremont from X-Men.

He alienated his artists like Todd MacFarlane, Jim Lee, Erik Larsen, Rob Liefield (a hack but still) etc. Who then made Image in defiance.

He declared Only Spiderman and X-Books popular and let the Image Guys remove the Avengers etc out of the Marvel world into Image's new world.

Man let characters like Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Fantastic Four etc be someone else's work. They sold those characters.

And he wonders why he was fired for nearly destroying the company when ToyBiz bought it. Which saved Marvel from becoming non existent.

But Hey WB hires him to run DC because he did a great job at Marvel...

This does not surprise me.

Now how they do the digital comics I like. Better than Marvel's.

Harras wasn't EIC when the Image founders left, that was on Tom DeFalco. He was the X-Men editor, though, so he is partially to blame for some of them, and for Chris Claremont leaving, but DeFalco could have smoothed that over, or outright replaced Harras.

You also mischaracterize Heroes Reborn. They at most leased those characters out for a year, they didn't sell them.

Harras made some bad calls, to be sure. He was the editorial hand behind the Clone Saga finale, for instance.

Ok, so I haven't been paying too much attention to this (partly because it irritates me), but is this going to be an "Age of Apocalype"-type of thing that will be undone in a year?

I really can't stand some of the changes I have read about. It really blow my mind that no matter how many times fans will rise up and rage against reboots/ rewrites, they still think "this time they'll love the changes we have in store!"

Morons.

Yes and no.

They're doing an 'Age of Apocalypse' kind of event right now called FLASHPOINT to lead into these reboots.

As part of the event the DC Universe was changed so that:

-Aquaman and Wonder Woman are at war with each other and have destroyed most of Europe in the crossfire and the rest of the world is next.

-Bruce Wayne died with his mother in that alley as a child and his father is the current Batman.

-Cyborg is the United States' main superhero.

-Superman was never found by the Kents, was taken into government custody and kept underground in captivity like an animal for 30 years.

Of course, the Flash knows all of this is wrong and is trying to repair the timeline. But he wont be able to put it all back perfectly so it will probably result in the new DC universe all these books are relaunching for. So basically, they've created this crapsack world as part of this event so that the rebooted books will look that much better in comparison.

Since the restarted books are yet another timeline, yeah, they can just undo it in a year if it bombs hard. They kept themselves an easy out.

Supergirl also has a heart shaped red panel on hers. On her crotch.
Of course this might go all the way around, but all we can see so far is the front...

Got any sacred artwork of her from the back?
