The new download recently has made many player's video cards obsolete even though before they were fully supported.

Now saying that, there are some awesome new Beta stuff going on that has split people trying out like the new Incarnate and new powers up the yin yang. New costume pieces etc.

That is taking away people as well.

The evil of Schrim and a rival new MMO based on a popular movie franchise has had us drop people who are normally on.

I personally hate Incarnate, because I hate Farming and Grinding, the new Zone Change, I hope will make it more fun for me.

Went to his website and he has a cool color design up. I love the art but obviously he does not know copyright law.

The artist is violating copyright law by posting this on his site but DC/WB usually do not have an issue as long as the person is not profiting by selling the work.

The artist is now selling limited prints for $40 and the artist does not own the rights to the characters the artist is using...

DC/WB will probably stop the artist sales and remove the artist's site at some kind because of copyright infringement.

Sad really this is really good work and DC should hire him but they probably now will shut him down.

My theory is this we will get our Paragon Points when their major product out on the Market.

I agree completely I did not get my September points until after StJ came out and right around the Halloween set.

I wait for October which I thought according to their system I would have received after Nov 12th because of their post from last month and the ticket I received from October over my points.

Most people have an issue with the price of the German Shepard not that it is something being sold. There have been several things I have not been interested in and things I have been.

As Z said not everything is going to be for everyone. Which I think we all agree it is the price of the German Shepard and how the Paragon Market has been set.

It is the price from people I have talked to on 3 servers not the idea of the dog.

I can see this being cool with a lower price and a different animal from the people I have talked too. People are not against the idea of the Non Combat Pet but the price. PRICE.

Even here in this thread it is the biggest complaint. But this is a feed back thread does not mean all the feedback on the item will be what the company wants to hear but they should be listening.

We the players want this to work as much as the Devs.

My issue with all the pieces that they held back, the high collars, hat, back piece etc makes to me no sense for signature groups. For signature characters such as Statesman, Manticore, Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow, Noble Savage etc. makes perfect sense to me.

With missing some of these pieces being able to customize AE Archvillains for COT for our missions they look like they are lacking. Making my big boss he does not look like a head villain or power broker of the COT.

This idea of keeping "unique" pieces for signature groups when it is some of those "unique" signature group pieces that help our costume designs and AE missions. What is so wrong with giving us as much as possible?

The reasoning given by Positron (other than the graphic and clipping issues) sounds like old school MMO thinking belonging to our competitors and not COH.

The big thing about CoH is our ability to create Character Costume Creation better than any MMO. No game has this kind of control and those that try have fallen short compared to CoH here. Yet the thought process is to keep also "unique" items sounds like something our competitors would say.

Now for the Signature Characters of the game, that makes sense like Statesman, Manticore, Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow, Noble Savage etc. but I do not see it for a signature group like CoT, where with our VEATs for instance we can make a character look like an Arachnos Agent.

And with Mission Creation as well that we have with AE it is surprising hearing this. We don't just play but can create in this wonderful world that has been going strong for 7 years.

Someone mentioned we would pay CoT1 and CoT2 to get these slots. That poster is right. Talking to a lot of people I know online on our chat channel we all do not understand why CoH is thinking this way.

What is funny is talking to all my friends about this even those that play other MMOs many of them would love to make characters that look like they belong to signature groups but no one allows them to do that. It does not cheapen the signature it is because we LOVE the signature group, it is like playing an evil race in D&D pen & Paper game or the Sabbat in a V:TM Pen & Paper Game.

Being allowed to build a character linked to a signature group especially the Villain side may help people playing on that side. I can see SGs that already exist and some in the future that are all about branches of those Signature Groups. Look at the VEATs when we finally got to play them we have seen a string of VEAT SGs on every server. Not just because of the class (many require if you are not a VEAT to at least have the Signature Arachnos Helmets to be on one of your characters. I could see the same with CoT if the pack was done better and talking to people playing the last few days a I know a bunch of people who think that way.

CoT Costume Set could have set a new standard here not just CoH but MMOs in general.

Congrats man. As a father who also had a child born recently (9 months ago on Dec 18th), I can say thank you for helping repopulate the pantless server 9 mos at a time.

I am sure Sidhe Blade will be on shortly to say her congrats as well.

Yep actually I am but this is because several friends of both myself and my wife from several other servers want to use Exalted this new "virgin" server to create a SG we can all be apart of at the same time.

On September 11th, 10 years ago...

I had just started my two week vacation. I have a rather well known fear of heights and flying that my friends have tortured me with for years.

I wake up going to pack later for my trip, I jump on my computer to log in on my chat game New Bremen. My Trillian logs on and I get bombarded by IMs in both Trillian and New Bremen. People are happy I am alive. People are telling me that a plane hit one of the Two Towers.

I of course think this is a massive practical joke. Everyone knew I was worried about flying to see my family some I had not seen in over 15 years. I tell them they are joking and one of them gives me a URL directly to the CNN feed.

Shocked... I look over at my roommate playing a MMO not CoH and I am scrambling to find the remote control. I tell him, he thinks I am pulling a joke until the TV is on as we see footage of the first plane crash on TV.

I run to my roommate who was sleeping wake him up telling him what was going on. He thought I was pulling a practical joke as well, he is ex-military having served in both Desert Storm and other areas. He did not believe me until I turned on the TV to show him.

We watched in horror as live or tape delay we saw the second plane hit the Two Towers. We were addicted. Then we got calls from people asking me if I was on any of the planes.

My flight was actually for 9/12 my friends got the day wrong but who can blame them for what happened? Panic was in the air.

I obviously did not make it to see my family until November from what happened. I was luckily able to cancel my vacation and go back to work and got my 2 weeks back which I used later on.

United of course gave me a voucher and number that I could reschedule my flight since I was in these certain dates.

So at the end of September, I reschedule my flight for November.

I called up with my voucher and special number in hand. To talk to this customer service rep and get my free flight. Well the woman on the phone was angry with me. I am in a good mood, I had a good day that day.

I tell her my name and she said without wanting to listen to my special voucher code. That I had to pay full price and I did not get a free flight from United. I had the paperwork in my hand. According to her I was scheduled to fly out not in the date 9/12 but 9/19. United tried to reschedule me and many others but a lot of airports took a long time to get reopened with the new security measures, however, since my Original Date was 9/12 that is what my paperwork said and the rescheduled date was not my original date so it did not matter.

I calmly tell the lady this on the phone. I mean I really kept my cool over this idiot. I tell her my voucher code she refuses to hear it. I told her this is a special voucher from United I need to give you the code. She refused again was yelling, I mean yelling to me on the phone lecturing me how we all were effected my 9/11. She was so loud my roommate heard her on the phone as I pulled it away. The woman was not rational. I could not believe I was calm and I tell her listen just put in the code and you will see what is going on.

Well all of a sudden the phone goes silent then I get hold music. I am looking at my roommate wondering what was up. I then had a new person on she said she was the Supervisor on the floor and she was doing a QC check when this was going on. She evidently looked me up and I was up for the free voucher. She said sorry to me over this and that United does not treat their customers like this. That the individual I talked to has been taken care of. (I am hearing yelling on background which I think was you cannot fire me!, I suspect the supervisor had to call security before she was fired so she could be removed quickly.)

She upgraded my flight seat to 1st Class and gave me the number of her boss a Vice President in United if I had any issues or changes needed to be done call his office and he will deal with it personally because of how I was treated.

With missing my original flight although minor compared to what happened. I missed a surprise birthday party where all my family including extended where there. It was a planned family reunion. First we had in over 20 years.
