No problem. I just now logged on and took these:

Here is a shot looking back at the center entrance. The entrance is laid out exactly like the lobby area of Pocket D.

Here is another shot looking the other way.

More coming in a sec. BTW, I posted links because the shots are big.

No, but it's used in a level 1-4 natural origin (Atlas Park) mission: Stop Skulls' attack on party

1. Create a natural origin hero
2. Go to Atlas Park
3. Do your origin contact missions

You'll get to see the map.

Here's one that I think is pretty neat. It's shamelessly ripped from the Paragon Wiki, but that's okay I guess, since I'm the one who originally put it there.

Although the protest signs are unreadable in the game, in the graphic file that is used as the texture, they are readable. They all say some variation of the following in a handwritten font (misspellings are deliberate):

Quote:
We are generaly discontent with our current situation & would like to show our discontentiveness publicly! (If that's OK with you)

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Here's a bit of serendipity that I think is maybe worth sharing. About three months before Web of Arachnos was published, I created a supergroup and web site named the Paragon City Free Press. When the novel was published, I bought and read it. Imagine my surprise when, in the story, Monica Richter (aka Maiden Justice, Lord Recluse's sister and eventually Statesman's Wife) worked for a newspaper called, you guessed it, the Paragon City Free Press. The newspaper is mentioned explicitly three times that I know of in the game: in a mission from Steven Sheridan, in Dennis Ewell's backstory, and it is featured prominently in a mission from Colleen Nelson. All of these instances were, to my knowledge, added after the novel was published.

The Paragon City Free Press is actually a HUGE reason the Paragon Wiki exists today. If you're curious about the history and linkage between the two, read a history I wrote up a while back. Also, although the current Paragon City Free Press site is currently dormant, don't expect that to be true much longer. Something is afoot...

There are still holes in the Grandville Hospital and several Arachnos base maps that allow you to climb out of the map geometry and explore outside in the black box that the map exists in. If you play around with the Grandville Hospital enough I think you can get back on to the flipside of the main map, but haven't tried it in a while.

The Grandville tunnels conceal a secret Dev Art Department office. Originally this office featured a full list of art dev names and each of their distinctive desks. However, by about Issue 9 some Arachnoids found the easter egg location and trashed it, so the desks are now a mess. Standing next to the toilet door in the office causes a silly song to play.

The Monkey Fight club in Pocket D is a revamp of the original club in Sharkhead, which still exists.

It is possible to get inside the red forcefield in the Arachnos tower in Grandville. You need to be flying or running up against it when the Arachnos Flyer spawns, which is the only time that the force field drops.

Characters should put 4 slots into Health and slot it with two regular Heal IOs then the Heal and special IO from the Numina set.

The base teleporter to Nerva will transport you directly to the witch (Granny Bedlam?) who you exchange halloween salvage with to get your fifth costume slot.

Non-combat NPCs will scream in terror and run away if you show them your veteran reward combat buff pet. I'm not sure if it works in all zones but it's particularly effective in Cimerora.

During several Betas, zone maps have developed holes that allowed you to explore outside the blue zone limits. I spent most of one beta exploring the distinctive Cap Au Diable mountains IN PORT OAKES, flying to the horned peaks that exist in the far distance in that zone. It was also possible to travel to and explore the entry point of the ITF (small island off the main coast of the zone).

The Ouroboros pool of time is now back to being deep, as it was originally.

Flying to the top of the Storm Palace and putting on some headphones while playing is the most awesome auditary experience in the game.

There are still a limited number of level 52 Hami enhancements in the game, earned from when both red and blueside suffered a glitch allowing players to collect them. On blueside, the Hami raid could be exploited and on redside if you claimed your Hami-O while in Warburg it would be level 52. Combining a 52 with a 50 gave you the max-level 52+.

Flying straight to the bank in a mayhem mission will spawn the Longbow EAGLES OF DOOM. I don't think the Devs have ever officially acknowledged the existence of these evil eagles. They seem designed to prevent you skipping the map and flying high in a mayhem mission. The more that you fly around the bank building at various heights, the more will appear. The size of the ambush is huge, with roughly 12 eagles spawning for each team member. They will follow you into the bank and sometimes not bother to enter via the door, instead appearing from walls and the ceiling.

The final boss of the Crey mission within the Silver Mantis Strike Force exclaims: "I wasn't even supposed to be here today!" - a quote from the movie Clerks.

The cute "Loch Ness Monster" named Sally, in Croatoa, can be teleported on to land using TP Foe.

It is still possible for a villain to enter the hero base in Recluse's Victory without being vaporised.

Before the Inventions system was released, several of the maps for universities were implemented in various zones. It was possible to find these university areas under zone maps and explore them. It was even possible to complete the inventions tutorial and earn the first inventions badge, plus an IO and/or some invention salvage.

Clicing an NPC with a name beginning with M will tell you how many hours you have logged on your character (different letters do different things).

Here's one I found out just today - you can beat down Kronos as many times as you want. Simply abandon the mission after you complete the "Defeat all Wildflower agents" - the next stage of the mission is automatically set, so abandoning it knocks it back to the Wildflower stage, followed by the ambush, and so on.

If you follow the power lines out of PI, to the south, you'll zone into Talos, but on the wrong side of the geometry. You can explore around under the world, and attack enemies. A simple /stuck command gets you back on the right side.

A lot of the exploration badges are pop culture references and inside jokes. Two of the new ones in TV

Ninja Run is very... elastic on the Z-Axis. Jump against anything with the slightest incline, and you can rise until something blocks you. War walls, the zigg, etc.

A few I just now learned/figured out.

/Cleartray will remove everything from your trays except macros. Very useful after a respec.

The most recent discovery I'm very very pleased about.
If you have a mouse with the side buttons you can bind attacks or inspirations to them.

The Back click is Button4
The forward click is Button5

Currently going thru all my alts and giving them these binds;
/bind button4, inspexec_name Respite
/bind button5, powexec_name Fly

Allows me to free up an additional space on my tray by removing the travel power icon as well!

You know how you can target through a teammate or pet and attack what they're attacking? Did you know you can also target through an enemy and buff what they're attacking?

I use this all the time. I usually bind button4 to a heal of some sort, button5 to a self-buff (eg, Build Up), and alt+button4 for my travel power. Different characters have different needs, of course.

And this is why PC mice will always be superior to Apple mice. "Smart mouse" indeed. I use a Mac at work that's beautiful and powerful and I want a freakin' robot cat to eat that stupid mouse.

Logitech.

The LX6 is old, and I still use it.

Okay, noob moment for a several year vet...

After many teams, TFs, etc., I really don't understand how 'Targeting thru a Teammate' works. I always kinda thought you had to have your teammate in your target recticle, then when you attacked, you would go after whatever they had targeted. Forwhatever reason, that doesn't really seem to work. Where am I going wrong with this 'teammate targeting' thingy...?

If you're currently targeting a teammate, and you hit an attack power, that attack will be used against whatever enemy said teammate is targeting, assuming, of course, said teammate's target is within the range of your attack, etc.

If the targeted teammate isn't targeting an enemy, it won't work, for example, if you target a teammate who is also targeting a teammate, the enemy target will not "chain". That's the only reason I can think of as to why it wouldn't work for you, because otherwise, it sounds like you're doing it right.

I normally target through the tank (or whoever is up front smacking stuff ) and as I rule I let them know it ahead of time as a courtesy. Normally this works great but you have to be careful if they are selecting a new group before the old mobs are done as you can shoot them before the tank/scrapper/crazed defender has had time to make them angry at them. The only other problem I have sometimes run into is when a tank is slow to switch targets after dropping one, but as long as they are up front and active they are normally at the center of the crowds and that is where I want to bring my special sunshine and happiness.

Going back to the tutorials...

Tutorial badges:

Heroes - Defeat - 100 Contaminated, this is easiest at lvl 2, usually before returning to Coyote after exiting the building mission.

Villains - Explore - Cell 15 upstairs in the starting area.

Praetorians - Chat - Last underground mission before the surface has an optional NPC to converse with in the big room, they ask you to go talk to them, click through 'ALL' their chat options and you get the badge.

Nuff Said...
Coolio Wolfus leader of Coolios Crusaders on Union.
Tekna Logik leader of Teknas Tormentors on Defiant.
AE arc 402506, 'The Rise and Demise or Otherwise of Tekna Logik...'.

... I don't think I 'get' this one?

Three heal IO would put you at the ED cap. If I remember correctly, the "two items slotted" bonus from Numina is a bonus to regen, and the unique proc IO is also a bonus to regen and endurance recovery. So by adding four slots, you get the ED cap on regen from the power, plus the set bonus, plus the proc bonus.

I believe there's also a similar trick related to Stamina, but I don't know the precise slotting or IOs needed.
