So NCSoft really is mentally handicapped, and also killed a potential new income source?

Really? It survived? Cool! Maybe some (most? ALL!) of the Paragon Studios staff can move over to it!

I'm guessing that with NCSoft shoving Paragon Studios out into the cold, cruel world, and slamming the door on their face, that in addition to City of Heroes ending, that other Seekrit Projeckt is dead.

Unless NCSoft moved it somewhere else, and it's still all hush-hush NDA, can we finally learn what it was going to be?

Samuraiko asked Zwill about the forums being closed via Twitter, and he said he'd look into it. He did, and came back with the answer of not being able to find any information stating such a thing.

So, as far as we know, the forums will still be here Tuesday and beyond.

Bad Luck, I suggest sending Mr. Piggins to deal with the folks at NCSoft who made this decision...

There are no words to express how this makes me feel.

Before City, I hated MMOs. They were a scam. Why the hell should I have to keep paying for a game I already bought?

City changed my opinions on that.

I know I haven't always gotten along with the various Devs/Rednames here, but I also knew that that was OK. They didn't expect everyone to worship them as gods. They valued our opinions, input, and feedback. And even when they didn't make the changes/additions we wanted, we at least knew they listened to us.

I'm going to miss this game and Paragon Stuios oh so very much. There will forever be a Super Hero shaped hole in my heart.

Thank you, ALL of you, past and present, at Paragon Studios, for EVERYTHING. I love you all, and wish you all the best of luck!

Thanks to the mistakes of Aion, NCSoft lost $6 Million, and we have to pay the price.

I've lost any respect I had for NCSoft.

I'm going to ask once again for a more "realistic/rubber" eye mask, similar to what Chris O'Donnel wore as Robin in the movie Batman And Robin.

Ugh. I don't use dropbox for various reasons. Is there any other way I can get a copy?

Does anyone know if there's a command line switch I can use in the NCLauncher to automatically verify files when there's a new patch?

It's annoying as hell to see there's a new patch, tell the launcher to update, check the Launch After Finished Updating checkbox, go do something else, and come back to find the "New patch or install detected. Would you like to verify files? [YES | NO ]" window.

I hope that something like -autoverify exists, so that instead of asking if I want to verify, it automatically does it.
