    Confessions

I successfully trolled GG and had a post made in my honor.

....to this day, I regret I fell for the bait. Being an anti-troll troll still makes you a troll.

Oh, also: back in olden Hami Raid times, I would totally AFK for the free Hami-O. I sorry.
  2. Longbow Soldier 348509a...

    You know, the blonde one.
  3. Doctor Scotts (Time/Fire Defender): Two man MoITF, MoKhan, and MoSTF. My friend Faero and I were simply unstoppable. Also, leading a Repeat Offender coalition string of iTrials on him.

Bladeshine (Electric/Titan Tank): Autoclicking Defensive Sweep against Mot and grabbing a drink.

Umbral Mistress (Dark/Dark Controller): Soloing the entire DA story at +3/8 on a squishie and never dying. I felt... well, super.
  4. My technology Time/Fire Defender, a stalwart anti-theist and scientist, will go out shaking his fist at the sky.

As he always has and will.
  5. My entire coalition shuddered at the title of this thread.

Of course, some are more likely than others while others will take longer to be a concern.

A hundred years ago and we were too ignorant about the possibility of our own destruction. The more advanced we become, the more ways we learn that can destroy humanity.
Pollution: to drive humans to extinction would take a completely insane amount of pollution. Billions dead? Sure. All of us? Nope.

Cataclysmic Shifts: Humans evolved during a major period of glaciation. The survival of that isn't so impressive relative to our survival of the post-glaciation period. Massive environmental changes can wipe out billions, yes. Extinction? Not even close.

Nuclear: Highly unlikely for every square inch of habitable land to be irradiated. Could you get 99% of humanity? Yep. But 1% is plenty for genetic diversity. Extinction? Hell no. And, given the fact every major industrialized country has "fecal matter hitting the fan" evacuation of certain populations... humanity will survive a nuclear holocaust relatively intact; at least, biologically.

Science Experiment: Confused by this. What do you mean? Like generating a micro-black hole or something?

    Biological Weapons: see nukes.

Next Evolution: *shrug* We'd become them. Kinda like the Singularity; you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between us and them for a very long time.

Aliens: If relativity holds true, we shouldn't expect aliens any time soon.

Asteroids: This is about the only thing capable of causing extinction; and that's a maybe. See nukes. It would have to be a massive extinction level impact, too.

Nanotech: couldn't get everyone. Luddites would hide out around the world or governments would evac to their nuke shelters and cover their tracks with EMP or something equally science fiction. Billions dead, no extinction.

Actually, the more advanced we become the harder it is to kill everyone. In fact, barring an extinction level event magnitudes greater than KT, we are fairly safe from total annihilation.
  8. Didn't the Mayans also perform bloodletting?

    And I'm done with them.
  9. Ah, Singularity. Hurry up!

For all those people worried about "the old fashioned way..."

  11. Bottom line, DM/Shield or perhaps a melee-softcapped Titan/Elec scrapper. I believe, against a single target, Titan can outperform DM by a good little stretch. Now, if you plan on using fuel...

    DM/Shield for the lulz.

    5. Teleport is a godsend for Stone Armor players.

    Lies. All of these.

    Teleport needs redone.

  14. My Dark/Stone/Energy tank was nigh un-killable except against large packs of Romans (silly mez protect!). To this day, I've never seen a better "tank" when it came to raw mitigation. And, damage was pretty high, too
  15. Also: Werner. I take all your AV soloing hints with a grain of long, arduous salt. :P

Sorry, the smell of someone spouting nonsense has drawn my ire. With the new changes to Energy Aura, it is fairly ridiculous to try and use any other defensive build. +Recharge aura, +endurance and defense click, and a ginormous self heal all make EA shine. TW/EA is my prime AV/Pylon soloer, and she pumps out 258DPS using a REALLY not-ST centric chain (I like my AoE's).

Just so we are clear, too, EA has 52% DDR, if I recall off the top of my head correctly.

Aside- Paladia, did you get your name from the Elder Dagon in Magic the Gathering? /nerdalert
  18. Maybe someone can help me here...

What was the point of the first hour of the movie? :3

It was entertaining, and the Battle for Manhattan was simply perfect in all regards (come on, when Hawkeye shoots to his blind side and just murders an entire skiff? Or when Hulk side-jabs Thor?). Really, the second half of the movie was excellent.

But that first half... and Scarlett can't act her way out of a paper bag.

As for the Incarnates I will be getting Agility Core Paragon (End, Recharge, and Defense) for my alpha. I was thinking of getting Degenerative Core Flawless Interface for the -Max HP proc (75%) and minor toxic DoT proc (25%). I think it will help the team if I am using AoE's to decrease the HP of the targets to help them kill quicker. I want to get the Storm Elemental Radial Support for the O2 Boost that heals and end drain protection. As for my Destiny I will be getting Ageless Core Epiphany for the + End, +Recharge and Recovery. Are these good choices or not?
    Dig the build.

As far as Interface goes, hit the opposite tree. You'll be attacking so much that the 25% chance for -Max HP will be firing nonstop, really. You'll want more DoT.
