It's just brilliant

Instead of making a whole new set for Brawling, Streetfight, whatever... all of which basically accomplish what Martial Arts already does, just change the Animations! Viola, my High Kicking Kane is now Bad Leeroy Brown

Curious as to what the Powers will be called with new Animations? Super Sucker Gut Punch can't still be called Crane Kick...

This is largely what I expected (though the addition of the new spines geometry is an unexpected, but welcome addition). This is sounding very good.

I think he's referring to an actual martial art technique/style where hands are used to simulate the talons of a bird of prey. It was weird for me too when I first heard, but I got used to it.

I can't imagine it's not the Silver Mantis spines seeing as they're already in game.

hmm, does the new character creator happen to "show" animations now?

Sort of like how detailed power info has the drop down, there should be a little drop down video when I highlight a power as well showing how it looks in game in terms of animation and effects.

Seems like a logical thing if we have the ability to change some of them. Well it was always logical, but especially now.

edit: just wanted to say - good work BaB's, you are carrying the team imo.
