It looks like you can change Crippling Axe Kick but not Crane Kick.

What I'll probably do (if I end up liking the MA punch animations) is have two of the costume slots both with the same costume, one with the kicks and one with the punches. When I switch styles I'll do the backflip costume change and probably have a style change text I'll exclaim at the same time.

I remember saying this in another thread. It will be like playing tekken again. Dang it! What was that guy's name? You know, the one with all the kicks and could change his fighing style. Started with an H.

Is it known whether this will be implemented as an all kick SET (original) and an all punches SET, or can we pick animations on a *per-power* basis to "hybrid" the new animations with the old?

Note: I dont mean cycling animations. I mean would you, say, pick a set at creation and stick to it or change it at ICON: I want thunder strike to be a kick, EC a punch, etc.

From the video posted it looks as if you can do hybrid builds.

I'm looking forward to changing out Storm Kick and CAK. I might change Cobra Strike too.

Kinda disappointed in the MA animations. I can't believe they actually brought the baseball pitch animation back as a punch again....yuck.

SuperStrength on the other hand looks very nice.

MA looks... okay. Don't like the baseball pitch either, Jacobi.

But the uppercut and palm thrusts are very nice looking and just being able to slot those in will give the set a very punch and kicky feel on their own. So I'm content still.

Now the Super Strength animations... those be cool. Very, very cool. The "Fist Stomp" is awesome. XD

Oh! Oh! And the metal spines? Badass BaB, badass. I think I'm looking forward to those the most because they're just perfect looking for a concept I have.

No way I switch Stork Kick's animation... both the attack and landing after for SK with a shield are too cool.

I'm a bit disappointed by the MA animations, they look cool... but they don't feel like Martial Arts (karate, kung fu... etc).

Maybe with a good mix of kicks and punches it will look great anyway, we'll see when we can try it

I still wish they put in a Barrage animation for one of the kicks. But other than that, I can't complain.

I think they feel like most comic hand-to-hand fighters: Batman, Daredevil, The Spirit, The Phantom, and such. However, if it helps any, here is Bruce Lee punching the hell out of Chuck Norris.

I think the quick upper cut looks very nice, and I can't really tell on the one that appears to be throwing an elbow/forearm rather than your fist....need to see that one more before I can decide if I like it or not.

The gut punch looks super weak, and the baseball pitch animation has been used a few different times for different things and always gets replaced because people hate it. No idea why they'd try to use it again.

The last one where you can't see it cause he goes off the screen looks interesting, but who knows what it looks like.

So out of 5 new animations for MA one is great, one is ok, 2 suck, and one is a total mistery. Was hoping for a little more out of BaBs to be honest. Who knows if these will be the final animations that make it to live though. If I make it into beta I will take it upon myself to do eveything I can to at least get the base ball pitch animation replaced

I really like the jab and punch animations....alot. They are actually a jab and a punch now!

She either skipped over Haymaker or it wasn't there yet, I'm hoping for the same quick upper cut animation from the new MA.

New KNBlow is great and the hand punch is very nice.

Very good job indeed. I'll be taking my SS/WP brute out of retirment for sure.

Well that's the obvious answer, but if people didn't like it before in different sets and it was replaced...using it again instead of making something new comes off as kinda half assing it. IMO anyways. Who knows, it could just be a filler animation used for the demo and wont actually be used. I was just surprised/disappointed to see it.

What's funny is I'm watching both videos and all that is going thru my head is "Ooohh, that could work for claws!"

That quick uppercut from the MA video could be a great alternate animation for Focus :O
