Informal Market Project/Survey
I'm a (D).
I'm most likely a C.
The best comics are still 10!
My City of Heroes Blog Freedom Feature Article: "Going Rageless?"
If you only read one guide this year, make it this one.
Super Reflexes: the Golden Fox of power sets!
WARNING: I bold names.
Pretty sure I would fall under F.
My second account which is now Premium would be H, since I stripped all its valuables before it went Premium.
My main account would be C.
D.
I have developed a bad habit of stockpiling IOs for alts that I plan to make someday, but even if I cached them all in, I would still be in category D.
I'm a C with occasional dips into D territory.
Mini-guides: Force Field Defenders, Blasters, Market Self-Defense, Frankenslotting.
So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
Have you contacted the Titan Network to see if you can use their data? (Assuming inf tracking isn't broken again...) Again, it'll only be a small sample, but it would be something to work with.
Anyway, I'm somewhere on the low end of D. I'm not entirely sure you're using the term "liquid" correctly here, though. Wouldn't that necessarily include stuff in storage bins, along with listed-but-not-sold and slotted items, priced at current market value?
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
D here. I tend to spend it as fast as I lvl alts to use it.

I could probably easily move into a higher bracket or two if I tried, but D easily affords pretty much anything I ever need slotting wise (save for those few pvp-ios in the billion+ range.)
"My inner mind has become a reality-cracking overgod. He torments me! Help!"

You would also want to include any recipes sitting around on alts which have yet to be crafted. And some people have hundreds of pieces of rare salvage in their bases, and they'd want to include those. Since no two people would make the same judgments, the resulting total probably would be an even less scientific sample.
This could be done, but would require the assignment of standard prices to all items, and then everyone could use the same values.
I think the OP's original request is a reasonable starting point.
I probably fall into the D category, since I probably have three dozen level 50s and they all tend to have 50 million or more, though several have more than 150 million.
D, probably just about 3 billion if you count all characters.
Going with the D. Three toons almost influence capped and the rest with about 200-500 mil on each. Spread around probably 15 well played characters.
Guardian server is Life!
Founder and Leader and all around greatest member of the Solo-SG, The Charybdis Clan.
A solid D. If not for altitis it would probably be a strong C.

Im a C.
Rich enough to be able to buy whatever I want, poor enough to not have enough to swim in
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
I hang out in the E area though I dip into the F area when a new character hits 50 >.>
Jem - Ill/Rad Controller Lv 50+3 Nic - Mind/Psi Dominator Lv 50+3 Lady Liberation - Invuln/SS Tanker Lv 50+1 Invicitx - Demon/Pain Mastermind Lv 50+1 Celeste - Emp/Arch Defender Lv 50+1 Nightsilver - DB/WP Scrapper Lv 34 Dusk Howl - StJ/Regen Brute Lv 32 Kyriani - Time/Energy Defender Lv 41Psifire - FF/Psi Defender Lv 50

Towards the top end of D but I haven't done any marketeering in a year or two now.

I'm solidly an A.

I'm an F, but I comfortably play SO's and common IO's.

Thank you, Champion.
Hi all,
In this Market Forum thread (post #5+), we've been trying to get a loose estimate for
the amount of influence/infamy/information currently in the game, basically by
guessing what percentages of the playerbase fall into various categories of wealth.
While forum posters are probably not truly representative of the playerbase
as a whole, it still might be insightful to see how the percentages pan out here.
btw, we're estimating liquid inf across an entire account.
So, DON'T count anything slotted in a build, anything stored in a bin, or anything
selling in a market slot that has not sold yet.
DO count actual inf you have on all characters of an account, as well as any
market bids you have that haven't filled.
Since the title says "Informal" we're just looking to see which of the following
categories (A - I) your accounts fit into - no need for specific amounts.
My second account is: F:
Which categories best describe your accounts?
Thanks in Advance,
4
