In the last few years I've spent a few months in the low "B" range but I'm probably sitting in the high "C" range now after some newer builds and some INF -> Prestige conversions.

Well just remember it's always been taken as a given that perhaps only 5% of the playerbase ever read and/or post to these forums so keep that in mind if you want to draw any "reasonable" conclusions from this thread.

Updated through this post: #81

Accounts: ~97 (a couple of you combined them)
Est. Inf: ~1.8 Trillion

In my original post, I'll update the percentages from my spreadsheet as more
data get added.

Of course, a mere 97 accounts is, statistically speaking, miniscule, but looking
at the results so far, it does appear likely to be a standard distribution, skewed
somewhat towards the higher end.

That's not unexpected as I'd believe forum goers to be more informed, have
more access to inf making strategies, and generally be a bit more "gung-ho"
(ie. dedicated to playing this game) overall than the average player.

Category E is interesting to me, so I'll be curious to see more data.

Once again, thanks for all the responses.

Keep 'em coming.

Cheers,

Seeing roughly 1.8 trillion INF on around 97 accounts is impressive.

But I seriously suspect that well over 95% of all accounts in this game will never break the 100 million mark for whatever reasons. Remember that before the Market and AE farms it was relatively rare for anyone to have more than a few hundred million much less multi-billions. Contrary to popular belief most people never step foot in the Markets or farm AE missions.

I would say anyone with more than a billion INF horded in this game is definitely a member of the proverbial "1%".

Well, hopefully, this data may shed some light on that idea. Interestingly enough,
(with all the caveats of sample size, representative samples etc.), what I'm
seeing in today's update is, at least, a factor of 10-15 higher than the guestimates
I used in the other thread (where I speculated ~90% under 2B).

Of course, it's 97 accounts, so this data ... and a dollar ... will buy you a soda.

Still, it is intriguing to see the percentages so far.

I'd probably have a lot more, but you can't hold more than 2B per character. It gets too unwieldy after that point, and then you're making fake bids, buying crap, storing inf. in e-mail--bad things.

If the cap was raised, or there was an equitable salvage currency, things might be different.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

I am just over 10B on my account.

A year ago I spent over 10B on two wonderful projects. If I hadn't done that, and I included all the IOs across my characters, I might just barely be a class B. As it is, I'm inspired to attain this next credit rating.

Yeah, I'm not buyin' L50's any more. L10's I expect will hold value.

Sounds like it's time for more alts, then!

A while back, I finally gave up trying to remember which character had how much INF, and finally just threw together a rudimentary Excel-type spreadsheet. Columns = characters. Rows = INF per character. Then I use "sum" to add up each row into another column. (OMG! It adds up each row for me! ...yeah, I know there are kids in second grade who can run circles around me on Excel and other programs, but my system is easy and it works -- I just leave it in the background and alt+tab when I remember to while I'm marketing, or when I switch characters.)

It's kind of amusing to look back over the years at the ebb and flow of INF, as well as my "comments" column when I spent a pile of INF on a new character or made a minor killing on a niche, like a "market diary" or something.

Titan Sentinal + CIT FTW. I just go to "My Account" there and it'll tell me exactly how much Influence, Infamy, and Information I have across all my charcters. The only hard part is adding the three numbers together to find the total.

I can relate - I put 20B into the 88's (and enjoyed it). With that, and my bins,
I'd definitely be in B, but C is what's on hand atm.
