Is there somewhere that can give me step by step directions on how to get all my Alpha slots filled and the other slots?

I'm finally venturing into this area with my new 50 tank and have no idea how to proceed.

I'd like to experience the Prae story arcs and was wondering if there is an AT that is relatively easy to take through there? I enjoy all of the AT's available, I suppose scrappers and trollers the most, then tanks and brutes.

Any suggestions?

I have 3 Hero Merits and was wondering if I could get some advice on the best way to spend those for use with the market or private sales.

A D with forays into the E's...

I start with a concept - how my character got their powers or if they're just simply trained better than some ( MA, StF, Kat etc. etc.)

Then, I pick a name. It can be a typical comic book heroish name or a person, pretty much anything, but something that really speaks to me and starts a costume concept.

After that, I develop a costume. I think I spend an inordinate amount of time on the face and hair. Has to scream out the name of the character.

Next, I work with the actual costume. If it's a typical comic book type name, I try for a number of different looks. Sometimes a Heavy Metalish look, other times, tights with top, gloves. Not always a cape though. Sometimes, capes just don't work out.

For most of my female toons, I have regular sized bust lines and a more narrow waist with wider hips and long legs.
For males, I scale down the Physical size, shoulders and chest and make the thigh stance more narrow and slightly longer legs.

Then finally, I start to customize power colour, which can take forever as most often, each power within the set receives it's own colour combination.

Rolled up one of these the other day and am having a blast.

Hi folks,

So recently, I'll turn on my pc, load up CoX and start playing. Up until recently (past week) everything has been okay. But, this past week, when I do some costume stuff, parts of my characters body disappear and it carries over into actual mission play.

If I log off and back on, it clears up.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is it a known bug? Or - is it my graphics card?! (hopefully not)

Thanks for any thoughts on this or guidance.

My way around this is:

I had a second account from a couple of years ago that is now considered Premium.

I got my VIP account sg leader to invite my Premium character, promoted him and now I use that Premium account character to invite my new VIP characters and promote them.

Thought I'd throw that out there incase you also have a Premium account that you've not thought about.

Hellen Dark - Demons/Dark
Dead Ken - Necro/Poison

Love them both to bits. They both have little back stories and they play very differently.

If I had to start one over, I think I'd go with Bots/FF or Thugs/Arrows. Hmm... Altitis just started to kick in...darnit.
