Prae and what AT to take through
The realistic answer to your question is: any AT which solos well. That probably means the melee ATs are going to be easiest, followed by Masterminds.
Be warned that Praetorian content has a lot of game design to it that is typical of the higher levels than the Primal 1-30 content does, so expect mixed exotic damage types, control effects, and ambushes frequently.

I24 Proc Chance = (Enhanced Recharge + Activation Time) * (Current PPM * 1.25) / 60*(1 + .75*(.15*Radius - 0.011*Radius*(360-Arc)/30)) Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.
Great! Thanks for the reply.
I've done a few early runs and remember the ambushes, but I want to push through and experience the arcs. I hear they're very well done.
Cheers!

First I would recommend you do the Praetorian tutorial because there is a badge you can get there that you won't be able to get until completing an incarnate trial way later. http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Avid_Reader_Badge
If you want to complete as many stories as you can you'll need to turn off earning experience at certain levels. For the Nova Praetoria zone it would be level 10, Imperial city level 15, and Neutropolis is level 20.
Here is a small guide I found http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Tyger%27...tent_Run_Guide
As someone suggested, it is a good idea to use a character that can solo content fairly easily. What wasn't mentioned is one reason for this is the fact that Praetoria is pretty much dead in terms of player population. I could spend a whole day on a character there and see maybe 3-4 different players throughout the day. (I'm guessing the reason for the low population is the fact that Praetoria (Going Rogue) is only level 1-20 content.)
Hope this helps you get started.
I've run through Praetoria a few times, and the easiest character so far was a Mind/Psi Dom. It wasn't fast, but the range of controls makes it very safe, and if you're planning to amble through for the story it might be a good choice.
Arc#314490: Zombie Ninja Pirates!
Defiant @Grouchybeast
Death is part of my attack chain.
I've taken 2 blasters, 2 masterminds, a scrapper, and a defender through the Praetorian content and didn't have much trouble with any of them.
Probably a better question is which AT not to take through Praetoria. There are many ambushes in those missions, most of which target the character and can see through stealth, so Stalkers are at a disadvantage. I haven't tried a stalker there myself, but I remember many complaints from stalker players. And I know my primal Stalkers always hated those kinds of ambushes.
I also seem to remember many players complaining that Dominators had a rough time with Praetorian content, but my friend, despite being a very casual player, had no trouble with his in Praetoria (and I see the last poster said his Dom did the best) so I don't trust that particular warning.
I went through as mind/emp controller with little to no issue. (so, with the lack of teaming, I was actually a mind/Healing Aura controller....)

If you're planning to run the Loyalist Power stories, play a tank. You're given so many allies and escorts in those missions that you'll be forced into a tank playstyle no matter what your archetype.
The only truly problematic arc is, I believe, the Loyalist Responsibility line. It's the only one with, I think, an Elite Boss in it. Everything else has normal bosses even for 'signature' characters.
I might be wrong though, anyone wanna chime in?
As someone already mentioned, Stalkers will have a harder time here, because ambushes are a way of life. (A running joke with my SO is that an ambush is the traditional Praetorian greeting.) They will see through your stealth and make a beeline to you. With friends in tow.
My Loyalist Tanker had a very rough time until he picked up his energy armor, thanks to Resistance and rogue Clockwork attacks.
My Resistance Plant/Fire Dom had few troubles at all, really. Only fun was when new ambushes would be added before I killed off the old group and ended up with more than my target caps onscreen.
My short answer would be a Brute or Mastermind. Something that can solo well and handle crowds.
I actually took 4 Stalkers through Praetoria, prior to the changes. Rarely had an issue. Granted the easiest way to get through Praetoria is with friends, or the Police Radio, that comes in handy.
My Elec/NRG Domi probably had the easiest time of it overall. His Sleep Patch took care of any ambushes and NRGs early attack chain & single target focus meant he could blap and blast his way through them one by one. At one point, fighting 5 or 6 Clockwork Lieuts it felt like cheating. My Ice/Thorns Domi had a much rougher time (End woes mostly and a lack of a reliable shut-down mez).
My Dual Blades/Elec Brute had an easy time of it too mostly, although Resistance were a bit annoying.
My gut instinct would be: anything but a defender, corruptor, or (maybe) controller; nothing that really needs a team to be safe, because there aren't that many people in Praetoria, and most of them prefer to solo.
That being said, at roughly a couple of cents per minute, you can buy 5-minute duration large inspirations and solo anything with anything. Rest often, chew down inspirations as fast as they drop, and don't complain about having to die and come back a couple of times, and you don't even need that, not even with the squishiest thing out there.
That being said, the easiest character I've ever run through Praetoria was a brute.
I ran a DP/Energy blaster through Praetoria. While I *LOVED* the stories, it was pure hell. However I also didn't know how to enhance back then >_>;. I've only played City of On and Off before then.

The easiest run I had was a FF 'troller and that was in the early days when the mobs were huge.
Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant
Finally got to read all the replies.
Thank you very much guys and gals! I think I'll give a brute a try. I only have one brute and I like the way he plays, so, I'll give it a go in Prae.
Cheers to everyone!

Hello folks,
I'd like to experience the Prae story arcs and was wondering if there is an AT that is relatively easy to take through there? I enjoy all of the AT's available, I suppose scrappers and trollers the most, then tanks and brutes.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
