So, I"ve gone systematically through Gabriel's arc, all the contacts in order, run all the missions including the personal stories, badges to say I've been there, done that, got the empyrian merits ... and now Gabriel tells me I haven't complete any of the arcs, the contacts have no missions for me to start, even Capt. Nolan has nothing. It's been 8 days, the counter has run down, and I'm shut out from repeating it. What gives?

With enough Inf, runspeed can be made tolerable (I do about 14 mph on Rooted + Granite), the recharge penalty can be overcome (I'm well over base recharge after bonuses and Hasten) but I hates that damage penalty. Even with Fire Melee and Fury, it's lackluster.

Of all the drawbacks, that's my personal nemesis. If there is a troller or dom shutting down attacks, I'll just drop Granite and go to town - the difference in dps is phenomenal.

Give me some damage back!

My wife and I, on a joint account, recently dropped to Premium status then resubscribed for VIP. When the account went to Prem, I was already in game and all my chars were unlocked. She, on the other hand, logged in later and had to unlock a char slot to play.
Now, with a paid resubscription and confirmed account VIP status, her slots are still locked while mine are open. Server swaps, logging in the one unlocked char, and relogging haven't helped.
Any ideas?

On my Dark/Fire tank ... taunt Reichmann, smack Vanessa, AoE other AV's, repeat.
Vanessa's done before anyone really notices she was there.

"No."

Does anyone know if the hero merit clock resets for the new TF, or do I have to wait a week after claiming one for the Synapse TF?

I have to agree - it looks good, feels good, I like the quick activations and the animations ... it's the most fun I've had in a long time from a powerset.
It seems powerful enough - maybe if I want to min/max I'll play something else.
I'll play this one (StJ/Invuln brute) for the funz.

No screenshots, darn it - but my Nem Staff was a wonky flamethrower, damage aura turned to ice shield, and summoning a MVAS gave me the stunned, confused and terrorized graphics around my head. Strangely appropriate ...

OK, I had only a few minutes to check out the new character creator and the new powersets, but I did have one problem that I couldn't resolve - where are the veteran temp powers? They used to be in the Vet Badge menu, but that's all changed ... where's my Nemesis Staff and Sands of Mu? The Base Transporter?

When I first heard of the changes to Galaxy, my thought was "Revisionist history! Nuke Galaxy, wipe it clean, eliminate any evidence of Back Alley Brawler ... you creeps!"

I attended the Galaxy BAB vigil and still make a point of collecting the exploration badges there ... this zone change just has a fishy smell about it to me.

I can go in with guns blazing and grenades exploding, and enough def to take the alpha (usually)

stealth in, buildup and "executioner's strike" with shatter, then crowd control and bayonet.
Shoot 'em, smack 'em, blow 'em up and stab 'em. All in the name of "arresting"

My wife is experiencing a similar problem - the game freezes when she selects a server, requiring a trip to the task manager to end the game.

However, it doesn't reboot the computer, and shows the same "account already logged in" whether the computer itself is rebooted or not, when logging in again.

Any ideas?

Just a farfetched possibility, but it happened to me -
the emote didn't work when I had ninja run toggled on.
When I turned it off, voila! Tantrum!

I've gotten about 20 purples and 2 Respec drops ... and the 2 Respecs came within a couple days of each other.
