On this Thanksgiving day (here in the U.S. at least), I just want to express my Thankfulness to all my fellow members of the Justice server for making these last 7 years so enjoyable.

Thank you to @Road Rage for leading and keeping our VG (The Doom Legion) as the Top ranked VG on the server for several years running.
Thank you to the other Legion members for all you do, When i'm Brutein' I know you always have my back!
Thank you to @Nursette and the Crimson Moon SG for always welcoming me when I feel like taking a walk on the blue side! Just listening to your SG's antic's while on TS always makes me laugh!

After 7 years my computer was getting long in the tooth, it ran CoH fine all these years but the 2 gigs of ram and nvidia 7600 card struggled with all the newish 'ultra mode' stuff and would lag badly on full teams with all the auras+power effects.
It took me months of savings but I was able to upgrade to your $750 system, I kept my Tower and harddrive but got all the other parts including upping the ram to 8gigs (and a tube of thermal paste! not in the build)
my only disappointment was the DVD drive didn't come with a sata cable..had to wait a few more days for that to come!
HOWEVER, I got to say it looks and runs awesome now!!!
::: as an example, before the upgrade when i would run a BAF by the time I would load in, the cut scene would be half or more over. Last night when I ran one i was one of the first thru the door!

A Fire/Dark Corr might be something to think about. good both solo/teamed, great damage and control. Ranged and tanky all in one.

I believe that has to do with the knockdown part of it. Doing things that prevent the AI from doing what it wants generates pretty significant aggro. Thats why the temptingly early AoE immob controllers get is sometimes called the "aggro bomb".
My impression as well is that knockdown/knockback generates an "aggro pulse" in addition to any damage from an attack. I know its pretty hard to do a safe single pull with a knockback attack, relative to an equal damage attack which doesn't do knockback. -

I always get the sound loop bug in that Tin Mage Mission. It usually happens as I am approaching the hallway where Levantera normally stands.
Personally I think its the stacked pew-pews from the warworks gatling style auto-blaster weapons overwhelming my computer

Having run 100's of ITF's I feel your pain, what I do as the tells come flooding In is tell the person as im replying..."ok you are slot 5" "you got slot 6" "you got last slot" that why im sure I get the right number, any questions arrive I ask them what slot they had. If I over book, I just tell the truth with a "Im sorry"
Oh, also. I almost never assign slots off the global chat unless I know that person VERY well, no /tell no spot. -

Back before the changes, I used to love Sirens Call's hot spots, Leading a Team of NPC's and being the focal point of the battle was onlike anything else in the game.
Farming the Turrets in RV and fighting off other players while doing so also occupied many enjoyable hours.
If I had my way, the Game would just revert the PvP rules to the current PvE system, sure, one on one battle, might be very unbalanced in some match-ups , but, like in the comics, Black Panther isn't gonna beat Thor. -

Ive ran 12 Apex TF's this week so far, I still had no idea what the OP was talking about, Ive never seen the named heros....
Guess they are squishy and I've been too focused on BM.

I ran my lvl-45 Scrapper on a Kahn TF last night (this weeks WST) as a end bonus I earned over 1.5 Million exp, a half level. It was awesome.
However, It would be interesting to me to be able to data mines this weeks player activity to see how many Kahn TFs vs how many Barracuda SF's were run, the average times spent and the number of failed attempts at both.
As a player who tends to run redside more than blue, I was very disappointed with the unevenness of these 2 Choices, sure they are more or less the same story told from both sides, but the Kahn can easily run in half to 1/4 the time and is worth more merits, Plus the fact that in the Cuda SF, without a Mastermind or redside Defender on the team it is basically unwinable do to Reichmans untouchable power kicking in when he hits 50%.
So, I was both happy and sad this week over the same thing. -

Oh well, we've got enough members in the Star Patrol to probably do an all-SG STF (and enough villains in the Nova Dominion to do the same for the LRSF).

Indeed, and the Players and Friends I have made over these many years I have called "Justice" my home server is another reason to be Thankful for.

I have taken a summer job at this place www.4qf.org
While I have some internet access, I don't have my gaming rig with me, plus to be truthful I have gotten a bit bored with the game.
Im hoping to return in October, hopefully before I-19 is released.
Justice and its players are just awesome.
I wish you all a great summer. Enjoy G.R. when it comes out, maybe all the bugs will be fixed by my return.

I would run a all VEAT or mixed EAT+VEAT ITF.
