Tin Mage, 2nd Mish, SOUND BUG!!

Guys, did you get a lot of sound bug while doing 2nd mish in Tin Mage SF? I've done 4 runs so far and in each one, somebody got a sound bug and eventually crashed. In the 4th run, it was my turn to get the sound bug.

That map seems to be too small to have that much going on with all those "BB Gun Shooting"... bew bew bew...bew bew. That's all I hear.

Is this common?

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Yes. The brutal sound loop still happens to many. I am very lucky, I only rarely get it and I do not recall crashing from it since I got my current computer (2 years now). But all those ACU/BCU sounds make me loop and I have seen several people complain and have seen a few people crash out and when they get back talk of sound-looping.

Hasn't happened to me, but I'm pretty sure both times I've done the TF so far, someone on the team did drop at some point. Perhaps it was due to this.

I rarely get sound loop bug too. For the 10 runs of ITF, I didn't even crash once but the second mission in Tin Mage is horrible. Sometimes the "bew bew" sound lasts so long that I thought I got the sound bug. Well, I did eventually last night after 3 runs. In each run, somebody on the team got the bug.

I always get the sound loop bug in that Tin Mage Mission. It usually happens as I am approaching the hallway where Levantera normally stands.

ive gotten the sound bug rarely from that mish, i do always feel as though i am close to getting a loop bug, and i have quite frequently seen poeple getting sound loop crashes from that mish

something i do to help prevent the sound bug is that i run in windowed mode and when it sounds like i am getting a sound loop i just click a different window, and while the other window is selected the sounds for coh/v are cut off till i reselect the window so it "resets" whatever sound problem could have occured

on another note the tin mage mishs on avg are very laggy for me on occasion, the first is usually the worst, the 2nd only the first part till you go to portal corp is laggy (as well as the sound looping), but after that no real problems

Well, in my 5th run somebody got sound loop bug again, so it's almost guaranteed that one of us gets sound loop bug in 2nd mission.

I don't know what it is in 2nd mission that causes sound loop bug so often.

I post here because I want to know if it's just our problems or it's quite common. Of the 8 people that play Tin Mage, 4 out of 8 get sound loop bug in second mission (which includes me). The other 4 haven't got any sound loop bug yet, so maybe the problem is on our end? Who knows.

Yep I have crashed twice from the sound bug in like 6-7 tries. Older computer.

My work around -- when your hear the hard pulsing loop crash sound starting RUN AWAY. Go quickly to a quiet area as far from the action as you can and it will fade/stop. Then return. Have not crashed on 3 runs since I started doing this.
Hope it works for some others.

I get the sound loop bug every single time on the 2nd mission and only in the RWZ base area. Have never had a crash from it, however it does seem to be quite common to lose at least 1 person during that time.

I always get sound loops, often see someone crashing (sometimes myself) at the exact spot Bionic Flea describes.

Generally this, sometimes the game crashes, sometimes I can keep playing but the sound loop gets stuck and other times it seems like its about to crash but holds out till the mobs are all dead then it fades.
Personally I think its the stacked pew-pews from the warworks gatling style auto-blaster weapons overwhelming my computer
It tends to be really bad if im running any of my 4 Sonic blast toons or theirs another Sonic on the team

Yeah, that one hallway is VERY bad for the loop, have no idea why. I've never crashed myself on my main computer (it's a beast) but my laptop has died once on it.

Worst run I saw, we had four people crash. LOL, THAT was rough.

The Looping happens to me most the time. Half of that causes the game to crash.
