Well, there is a badge for it, so we might as well give it a thread.

i17 comes with many new badges, and another milestone:
Adventurer Badge

After the first day of i17 play, Master-Blade is up to 766! I still have the last part of the new Positron to go.

(In all fairness, I still have 1-8 Times the Victor, so Badgehunter-wise I'm really only at 758. This character will cap at 767-8=759 with the current available badges and my current Veteran Status of 45 Months)

I'm at 768, without the 1-9 times the Victor.

Yeah.. We ran the Katie the other day for the extra badges just for kicks. It was something extra to do while we were waiting for i17 to hit. Even before i17, Master-Blade was capped at 695 with the extras. He was really only at 687/700. That's what I get for only being a 45 month Vet. lol

I'm behind by a couple years of Veterans, and since I was including a screenshot, I figured I should explain why it's higher than my Badge-Hunter profile shows. lol

And speaking of that, I forgot to even link my profile above, so I'll edit it in:

I just updated my avatar with the current count. I still need the TF badges, but I won't be doing that until the weekend. I was just standing next to the AE and my character happened to look over his shoulder at his reflection; it looked so nice I just had to avatarize it.

Chiming in w/ 769. Gobbled up all the new shineys last night- and a good amount of Merit Rewards came with it, nice!

After getting all the new explores, my badger is at 759 as of last night. I'm hoping to get the new Posi ones tonight or maybe the ones for the new story arcs.

Update: as of 5/1/10 I have 764. I still need two master TF badges and that will pretty much brick wall me until Going Rogue.

Funny, that is almost what I thought. Except I would have said the whole works would have been done in 5 minutes. If you look at the villain badges, they are pretty much the same, only red.

So change layer styles, import a new background, add new number layers, and then export. Ok, maybe 10 minutes.

I peeked at 754... bah.
I like the new art better. The other one was too spiky and cavemen like. This one is a beautiful antique world map. Much better suited, IMO.

My main character and badge hunter hovers at 749 badges right now, but I'm going to wait another ten days before getting another one. For style reasons I want my next full-year-badge to be my 750th one, which should be awarded on May 12th.

Just logged in after being out of town for the last couple days to grab Distinguished and Exultant, bringing me up to 774. Woot! ^_^
