EI has 918 badges atm...to be honest beyond the SFs (and Master of SFs) I'm not sure what I'm missing (and day job badges...and working on the last few mayhem ones).

Hi Guys,
can I make a guess that you have all gone 100% Hero/Villain?
I started at 749 and stayed Hero for 7 days to get the loyalty badge as I suspect that I will not go back full Hero for a long while, and so only yesterday went Vigilante.
I had a cracking day and collected 102 more for a current total of 851 so still a long way behind the 940ish levels.
I can work away on a few more, but hope that I will get a second nice award of Villian badges when I go full Red. I did help take down Deathsurge so that one is in escrow. I sooo want to flashback and start doing all those badge arcs
Well done to all of you and back on topic I have no thoughts on 1000 because of missing Vet badges. I do not think even the Praetorian badges would get me there.

After 12 hours, my main hero badge collector gained 90 badges today. She is now at 865 badges. And she is only at Vigilante stage now.

I thought the current maximum was 986 (H) and 987 (V) as the P ones are off limits for older toons (for now...). Unless you start as a Praetorean you won't be able to access those badges that would push you over the 1000 threshold. And if you do, you won't have all the old badges that are now inaccessible.
Am I missing something?

Also, shouldn't original heroes be two higher than original vils because only heroes could have the 1st Anny and the associated 5th Gladiator.

Only heroes can get Nebula Elite Buckshot and Fire Thorn Caster.
Only villains can get Night Widow, Wailer Queen, and Wolf Spider Enforcer.
I might be overlooking some badges...
When my 50 hero dinged full villain I got Night Widow, Wailer Queen and Enforcer. So I think that isn't the difference.

Badge Update for Heroes & Villains
These 4 badges need some new code to make them count correctly. Considering you can only have 1 of the 4 badges, I have put in code to allow only 1 selection of the Patron badges and to count as 1 and not 4.
Due to this code being in polace, I need to rework the code to work for Heroes as well. This is all being worked on now. I'm sorry I have no estimated time frame on when this new code will be done, but I'm doing my best to get it out as quickly as I can.
Real Life can be a PITA sometimes, and it takes me away from what I want to do 
But rest assure I'm working on it.

I am at 955 with all "old" Red and blue content completed except the Red Day Jobs and Day Job Accolades (10 badges total).
I am missing 5 Vet Rewards, the 1st Anniversary and the associated Gladiator, The two from the CoP, one avaliable Pretorian Defeat badge (Seers, unless Resistance is counting now, in which case it's 2 missing), and 5 alignment badges. That is, naturally, ignoring Bug Hunter and Passport.
So, from my numbers unless I missed a "missing badge" that's 980 possible badges plus 2 if you want to count Passport and Bughunter.

The numbers I refer to were pulled from the Badge Hunter site. I have no idea if they are the correct ones or not and I don't know why there's one more for villains.
Still, I don't see how it is possible to currently get above 1000 badges.

That, combined with some inspired good luck (RV AVs anyone? But there's only 4 of us... *bash* There that's all of them. Wait, how did we pull that off again?) and it can be done fairly rapidly comming off the Blue Side.

Im close to being done with badges other than Day Jobs and we will not be seeing 1000 until next issue. Unless someone starting in Praetoria really works hard to get all Praetorian badges plus Blue and Red side. Have not done the math but I believe there are enough baddges in Praetoria to outweight the unobtainable seasonal badges and boost you over 1000.

Basically this means that the window of opportunity for Praetorian badgers to surpass Primal badgers probably won't last much past the end of 2010. More power to anyone who wants to try to accomplish that before then.
