With the new and awesome steampunk set that has been released, people are already complaining about the still lack of costume piece choices being only male or only female.

The people have spoken and are still yelling at you CoH Dev team!

So the only questions I have are is when? And why not sooner then that?
I agree there is a bit. One of the reasons I am not in a hurry on the Steam Punk pack is because I only play male characters, and the costume options in it for males is a little thin IMO.

There are several areas that come to mind. Females get really cool bracers, males don't, how is a bracer not a unisex costume?

I have also may be just a matter of what they had time to make.

Yeah, that's always bothered me.

How is a metal dragon bracer too girly for guys to wear?

Maybe I should get a wish list together with everyone here to make it easier for the Dev team.

And why can't women have cigars?

Why can't men have corsets and fishnets?

Yes, I ask for these items every time gender equality in costuming comes up.

And I will continue to do so for as long as I'm able to post to these forums.

Be well, people of CoH.

Better be able to before they make a dark primary for controlers. Marylin Monsoon demands it.

You'd think costume proliferation would have been easier then power proliferation.

I'm Old School...Frank-N-Furter demands it!

Most of my characters are female as well, simply because of the costume options. It's *much* harder to realize costume concepts with men than it is for women.

For instance, I have a Nordic Broadsword Scrapper wearing chainmail. Because of the female-only Skirt options, it looks like a proper chainmail hauberk, but because men don't have any skirt options, the best I can pull-off is a chainmail shirt that just doesn't look as good.

Yes, and why can't my male characters get that sexy Walk that the female characters can do?

Never argue with stupid people. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

And why can't my female characters walk normally in flats, instead of having to prance around as if in heels all the time?

It's like large breasts, an apparently inevitable side effect of women getting super powers.

That's because being an attractive woman is a super power by itself.

And use the female walk.

And finally I will be able to make that villain from my nightmares: "Creepy Uncle Steve."

I never seen a guy who can walk like that - men just don't have the right hips for it

That's not prancing - that's just a feminine swagger - which would be the default way to walk if you had superpowers

The most sexist costume choice Ive seen in game is that women cant wear kilts!
Bracers only for female makes no sense too...
Also those bracers would look better for males, like wristbands. Female's bracers got that stupid space with no tight between wrist and elbow. Male's wristbands dont.

Even my fourteen year-old gang mascot Mastermind?

Headbands for men. It's ridiculous this issue hasn't been taken care of by now, considering how common headbands are for characters such as martial artists, street fighters, etc. But men are only allowed to wear one type of headband with one specific hairstyle, while women get it as a normal detail option.

Double you tee eff.

I think the Metal (from tops/bottoms with skins) would be better.

Age is inversely proportionate to sexism? Kids must be protected from... clothing? What the hell is this guy trying to say?

And we should be teaching them that women never smoke cigars and men never wear women's clothing?
