Abandoning the Rogue Isles.
My villain groups will stay my villain groups, as will my hero groups. I am rerolling some toons and giving both sides the other half, but I am not abandoning the bases I have worked for.
I for one plan on taking my Warshade and Dark Armor tank to the Rogue Isles. There are more Master of badges for my tank to get, and my Warshade is a bit too close to evil for a hero.
I don't think we will see a mass exodus at all. My prediction is that we see it less as "Blue Side/Red Side" and more "City of Supers."

I'm looking at 12 on each side going to the other side eventually.
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
I'm barely shuffling anyone around. I got a brute who has to go Rogue -> Hero -> Vigilante, and a villain that has to go Rogue. Thats about it. Everyone else is drawn for their alignments.
The Story of a Petless MM with a dream
I have a 50 in every AT, but Scrappers and Dominators are my favorites.
Me, what I imagine will happen is that most tonns will be come vigilantes/rogues. If that happens, both red-side and blue-siders will simultaneously get more players.
Personally, though, I actually quite like the Rogue Isles, so I am definitely not abandoning them. In fact, I'm not too terribly fond of the blue-side content at all, so I might just be more likely to have my heroes fall from grace.

My City Was Gone
I am looking at one of my Stalkers moving to blue-side, and that's about it. I will mostly be making new characters and going about it that way. At least that's the plan for now.
I don't know how many are going to switch sides right now, but the 4 that I know are going are all going to the Rogues Isles.
My SG mates are all going to roll new toons for GR and then having some be Rogues and some Vigilantes so that we can do both hero and villian content together.
My main hero's will stay hero's and Villians staying redside.

I've got a very few characters who will switch one way or the other, and at least one Dom who's starting out Praetorian (as the concept calls for them to be a hero at the end.)
I'm taking a few characters per side over, overall staying about equal. I'd enjoy scrappers more if they were villainside and I'd enjoy corruptors and dominators ("Hey, let's make an AT with practically no damage mitigation except mezzes, then put them on a side where they have to fight mezz-resistant enemies all the time!") more if they were heroside, so I'll probably take a few new ones of those cross-faction.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Just wondering how many other player are planning on moving all if their toons to Paragon City ASAP after Going Rogue is released.

I see a lot of people who hate Mercy Isl--I mean, the Rogue Isles atmosphere... and they seem to be the only ones who ask this question. "Man, I sure hate the Rogue Isles. I'm certain everyone else feels the same, so I'm gonna start a thread about it."
To date, I have yet to see anyone say "I hate the hollow, plastic feel of Paragon City. Who else is going to move all of their toons to the Rogue Isles ASAP after Going Rogue is released?"
As for me, I'll take a Vernon Von Grun over an Unai Kemen any day of the week.

I'm not moving any of my redside toons that I can think of, I barely play blue as it is. I'm currently working on an FF/DP defender though and I'll probably take her redside for a bit just for the fun of it. I have been thinking about making a stalker in GR and making him blue though - once again, just for the fun of it.
I prefer red to blue a lot because I do think it feels "plasticy", not to mention all the low level "go to that map, now come back! Now go over there, now come back!" grates.
Very few of them.
I would have moved all my mains blueside had the markets not been merged, but with that hurdle out of the way I'll just make gobs of Merits blueside, move my generated items redside through email and continue playing the fun content the Rogue Isles has to offer.
I may move a few heroes red and a few villains blue just for kicks though.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
more stories to take part in that i don't have to wade through 5+ levels of radio missions to get to? Going through Praetorian start up or switching to villain the only way im doing that because first 20 levels of villain side i have tried to get through and can't
I only bought gr for the demon set.
I have one mastermind that will go rogue and probably stay there since he's one of my few solo characters and when asked to PUG I'd like to have more than 1 option.
I'll also be making my first corruptor as a praetorian and probably take him blue-side.
None of my heroes will make the transition to vigilante and none of my villains are going all the way to hero.
Make what you will of all that.
I actually expected way more folks to say they were moving to, or staying blue. Although this probably does not represent the player population as a whole, I more expected redside to get emptied out.
Most of my toons are staying put although I am moving a Fortunata to blueside and a dp/dev blaster to red...then maybe back to blue(he's a tormented type).
I am creating a few new toons in Praetoria who will split between each side though.
i might turn a few grey for conceptual reasons, but only about one existing character is getting a full switch, and she was made with that purpose.
Unless you mean, for RP reasons.

My favorite alt, my Crab, will end up either rogue or all the way over and back to vigilante. I want him able to cover as much content as possible. Some characters will go to hero depending on disposition. Some heroes will go vigilante. I can't think of a single character will will go full blown from blue to red.
I will likely keep one brute a full on villain to earn villain merits. This is simply because I like brutes for solo work, and doing the repetitive alignment missions is going to be solo.
Too many alts to list.
Existing characters will stay where they are, though some may move toward the middle. I have made two new characters, red and blue, with the plan that they will switch sides. And my future praetorians will probably not choose sides according to AT - not quite side switching but still.
I do not suffer from altitis, I enjoy every character of it.

Yeah, economically there is parity, but no one pays a monthly fee yo an mmo to solo, and the majority of CoX's population is blue side. can't be the only one who has cone to this conclusion, and i can see the population on reside dropping to lonely (rarely seeing another pc) levels quite fast.
I feel kinda guilty that i will help encourage the mass exodus, but I want to team.J am willing to give up my characters themes (I guess they will be mercy or undercovevillains) to find people to play with.
When something good happens to me, I can never enjoy it....
I am always too busy looking for the inevitable punchline...
