Quote:I've been on a few of those teams myself. Most recent was a lvl 50 team, I was on my IO'd T4'd Incarnate Fire/Shielder and the team leader insisted we pulled every mob.True story:
While playing my Scrapper Capt. Blood, I once got kicked off a team led by an anal-retentive scaredy-cat for saying, "Less yappin', more scrappin'!"
I said I would pull a mob over... then ran in and took out two groups while they waited for me to pull! -
If you aren't lvl 50 by the weekend I'll give you a hand with my Fire/Shielder scrap. We can do some Ouro stuff, set at + whatever x8.

I'm really late to the party here.. but can I still send in my character??
-
I just thought of this now and haven't really looked but are any of the actors from Big Bang Theory on Twitter? Since COH has made appearances on that show maybe we could send a link of this to the actors twitter accounts.
If COH made it on that show that means someone there loves the game.
Maybe even link them with the petition as well. -
I'm with TJ with this. Once COH shuts down it will be the end of MMO gaming for me. (I still enjoy my console games)
COH was my one and only MMO. I've met a lot of people on Justice, even if I wasn't the most outspoken player out there.
I've met people who I still consider a friend to this day and I hope that those friendships won't ever fade.
When I first started COH things were slow for me. I was a college student and MMO gaming was a completely new experience for me. I teamed with people here and there and couldn't figure out why my toon's stunk so bad compared to the rest.
That's when I met Omega 001 and joined the newly formed SG Omega Sector. They showed me the ropes on building a character and gave me that first constant group of people to play with. I can say that I was one of the reasons that Omega Sector became the #1 SG.
Then on a random day I met up with a group of players that created Superheroes Inc. There were nights where a mish that would normally take 10 mins to finish took 45 due to the constant banter. When most of the group moved on to other games or had real life obligations I joined with Legends of Justice (LOJ) and met even more great people. With them I was able to share stories of my Wedding and eventually stories about my son.
COH has been a part of me for the better part of my adult life. Having that part removed is like having a piece of who I am go as well. COH in its own way was a way for me to let off some steam (I work in a government position that has a lot of public interaction. A LOT of that interaction can become very frustrating..) I could just log in with my Fire/Shield scrapper and just demolish everything I could get my hands on.
I could babble on and on about great memories but there is too many to list. -
My heart sank when I read this. Coh has been a part of my life since college. If I have to take a day off of work just to be there when they shut the servers down so be it.
Thank you to the dev team for making this game awesome for so many years. And thank you to the community for making my play experiences so memorable. -
I jumped in on an ITF a little while ago with my Uber Fire/Shield/Fire scrapper. T4 on all 6 slots. At the beginning of the TF I asked the team leader if I could try to fight Rom and Req alone while the rest of the team fights there way to the computer. The team was more than capable without me so the leader said to go for it.
After making short work of Requiem, Romulus soon dropped. I checked my map and saw the team was about half way to me. So I jumped down with my Lore pets and attacked the computer. I took down the computer and then joined the team as they took down the last General.
A few members of the team asked what happened and were quite surprised when I said I took down the AVs and the computer solo.
I was happy! -
Wow, I just found out about this now.
It's amazing how I can be affected by the loss of a man I never really knew that well but teamed with from time to time and enjoyed seeing his banter on the Justice channels.
RIP Lucas -

I'm so glad they fixed the colouring on the armor!
Now when are we going to get that nice Celestial Shield that was in the advertisement that was never included in the set? -
I don't have my build handy with me since I'm at work, but I'll chime in with my Incarnate choices.
I took Cardiac for Alpha. 45% extra end redux on EVERYTHING is huge. I don't have any problems with End.
Pyro Judgement for Theme... still can't go wrong.
Reactive: -Res and more fire dot. Also for theme.
Destiny I took the Rebirth as my "Oh crap they hit me power"
Lore: Cimeroran pets.
Hybrid: I used Assault. +10% Damage is perma. PLus the stacking buffs. They stack quick.
I did a PUG ITF the other day, on the 3rd mish the team worked their way to to Rom and Req.. I asked if I could try to solo them for fun while the rest fought their way to me.
I beat both Rom, Req and the Computer before the team got to me. -
Zepher and Superpacks go on sale the day after I buy them? boo!
I was hoping to see Superpack 2 Rogues and Vigilantes! -
Quote:Nice! Are we going to find out who won?Because of the foul ups earlier, they'll be doing 3 last batches sometime tomorrow.
-
I wonder if we can use catalysts on these as well? That would be sweet!
I can see my Archer making good use of this set in Explosive Arrow! -
I've been running a Staff/Fire Scrapper and I'm sitting at lvl 26 at the moment. I'm thinking of putting a decent amount of Inf into this toon but I'm not sure how to go about slotting since I've never run a /Fire Armor toon.
As for an Epic I'm thinking Pyre for concept reasons.
Anyone have any good build advice? I'm pretty much good for any build that doesn't have purples or PvP IO's. Although I may eventually acquire them.
Thanks! -
The new States and Recluse masks don't mesh well with other costumes as well.. On a high resolution the colouring doesn't match. It kept me from enjoying the pieces
-
The Circle of Thorns shoulder piece really helped finish off a character costume for me.
The new Imperial Defense, Olympic Guardian, and Circle of Thorns are all very well used on my current characters! -
-
kinda sad that it didn't end up being the two part episode. But Episode 29 will be out quicker than usual!
I'm really curious to see how they handle Goku's Super Saiyan rage. -
Sounds more like the Mexican government is looking to cash in on the 2012 hype and nothing more.
-
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet as I'm a little late to the party and haven't read the entire thread. I really like how this set is shaping up.
When I saw the glass bowl all I could think of is how cool it would be if we could use something similar to this

Today is my birthday! Yay! I will be spending it packing boxes with my Dad while my Mom watches my little guy!
That said, you won't be seeing me much, if at all for the next few months. My wife was offered her dream job in our home town. She took the job and now we are moving in with her parents until we can either find a new house or rental.
I'll still be subbed and I'll likely be lurking the forums to see how the game changes in the near future.
Hopefully I will see you all in game sooner than later! -
Quote:haven't seen this posted yet. But anyone who liked Dragonball Z will like www.dragonball-multiverse.com
Its updated 3-4 times a week. (3 for the normal story, 4 for the specials)
It's based on a tournement of 20 different Dragonball timelines.
The art is very well done as well.Quote:hadnt heard of it... i read all of it now. it's good. could use someone with better english skills as sometimes it is hard to read, but nothing too serious. Also some of the "specials" which are backgrounds have bad art in my opinion, and crud stories, but over all they're ok... so i just added this to my list ^.^
also since no one mentioned it...

sidenote: yes i read all 500 pages of DBM today...
I like it for the main story. Should be interesting to see what Frieza's family is up to when the SUper Namek special is finished.
