the best thing on there is prolly the olympic guard costume set, but since i already have it ill be saving points this week
Zepher and Superpacks go on sale the day after I buy them? boo!

Everyone seems to be saving points every week.
I wish I could spend them in a Black Knight or DA Tsoo costume bundles.
I guess Super packs #2 will hit the market next week...

Yup... another week.. another fail at market offerings... maybe they should jut start labeling new powersets as "for Beta only" since they seem to have an aversion to releasing them or even hyping them much.

At some point in the past, when a set went on sale, you could buy individual pieces at sale prices. Last time I checked, the individuals were not marked on sale - which I find really, really obnoxious. (Pretty much the only things I'd ever buy would be single procs).
Does anyone know if this is just policy now, or was that a fluke?

Also, Beta isn't a demo of what's to come in the future. Beta is a place to test for bugs, balance issues, etc. We'll get these sets when they're balanced and when they fit into the marketing schedule. As for hype, powersets get advertised a full week before they release on the market, so that folks can plan around that and know when to expect it.
So dude, chill.
Besides that, we got a new powerset less than a month ago.
And we know the current strategy is to let us know a week ahead of time before a new set is released (it happened with the last two new sets, plus we were told as much by Zwill here on the forums). Since we didn't get an announcement about a new set hitting live servers last week, there was no reason to expect one to hit live servers this week.
Show a little patience here.
FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.
the only stuff on sale I want, I already have.
Ah well, since I dropped 800 points on a Beam Rifle impulse buy last week holding off this time around will help even things out...

Just because a powerset is (or seems) ready in beta, it doesn't mean they'll put it on live as fast as they can. By spreading it out, they have a powerset to give out multiple times, rather than just releasing them all shortly after eachother, possibly with bugs that need to be fixed (and maintenances), with people playing the new powersets, burn out, complain they get nothing new and just stop playing.
They can't give something new every single week, or even couple of weeks. We're already getting more than before freedom, we will get the powersets eventually.
Why do folks see it as a personal affront if there's nothing they want on the market any given week? I just see it as an opportunity to save up more points so I don't have to buy more when the 'good' stuff I want comes out. That's probably part of the reason they do release powersets and costume packs a bit spaced out.
If they had something everyone would want week after week, they'd probably catch flack for trying to force players to feel like they have to buy more points instead of use their monthly points (for those paying).
*sigh* Times like this I don't think the Dev's could win no matter what they did. I can understand not having anything you (in the broad, general sense) would want any week, I just don't get why anyone would feel the need to be rude about it or call it a 'fail'.

last time around september they had a great labor day weekend sale im holding off to that one. Also with super packs 2,bio armor, and natural affinity coming out i dont see myself spending points anytime soon till those three come out.

Looks like just the sets and not individual enh on sale... shame. I logged in special to hand over my points, but gonna hold them for now.

Has anyone made mention (in the past) about thinking of rounding down (or up, whatever) point purchases to increments of 5, so that you don't end up those goofy leftover 1 & 2 digit point values? I mean, it's bad enough when I end up with 10-30 leftover xbox live points, but it would be (to me) fairly frustrating to end up with 1-2 leftover Paragon Points.

From what I have seen lately my points will be 'safe' for a long time, may never get used...
