Super Tailor Feature:

When visiting the Tailor or Facemaker in City of Heroes or City of Villains, a new NPC is available. The NPC will allow you to change the inherent body type of your character. You can choose Male, Female or Huge body types. Additionally, you will be able to change your character’s height. So characters can change from a short, skinny civilian to a HUGE powered brute!

*Note : The described scenario will only work if you have an additional costume slot available at Level 20 or through the redemption of Halloween Salvage.

**The Super Science Booster is only available for a limited time on the Test Server in order to make sure we iron out any bugs that may still be lingering. (This is your chance to get a free sneak peek before it goes live) Characters that were not copied over to test prior to the patch will not have access to the Super Science Booster.

*** Please also note that we have disabled a back end process that copies over ‘active’ account status. This means that if your subscription ends today, or through the end of the week, you will be unable to access the Training Room until we re-enable that back end process. All active accounts that are not set to expire today (or through the rest of the week) will be unaffected.”

Who says science isn’t fun??? Thanks for the help – see you on The Training Room!

So, how long before we have someone play s skinny dude drink a formula to become a catgirl in skimpy clothing?

Oh wonderful.. as if I haven't seen ENOUGH Hulk clones... now I get to see Banner clones too... turning into a Hulk clone..

I wonder if each costume slot will get its own generic code?

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

Not that it affects me, since I want it already, but is the Super Tailor available to people who don't buy the pack...?

Yes. Per Castle, this is the "Science Power."

When he was aksed to design the Science power, he kept running into a brick wall. Everything he thought of was more "tech than science." Then he remembered the Super Tailor tech, and pitched it as the "Science Power."

Mostly paraphrased from the Patch Notes thread.

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)

No bubble helmets or super-science weapons. Meh

It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets

Interesting.. more power to gender bending Jeckl and Hyde types ^-^

Very much wanted ability though, so can see much gnashing about it only for paid extra.

And rubber gloves! Needed something like that for a while on my mad doctor.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Gender is... buggy... right now.

Castle was on the Training Room just now and kept complaining that he was getting error popups any time someone changed their costume.

The costume pieces and emotes are, frankly, fantastic. You will love them. No, even you, that guy who's complaining about microtransactions. You'll love them too, so hush.

Do we have screenies of this stuff?

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

Ditto that. Emotes: Fantastic. costume change emotes: also fantastic. Ability to transform into anything you want to be: A much, much asked for option that people are going to have a lot of fun with. But some bugs to work out at the moment, of course.

If you have a mad scientist character or one that transforms into a beast or something, you're going to love this one.

While I like the costume pieces, I was kind of hoping for more than just scientist stuff. Like various implants with liquid filled tubes or limbs/torso options that look malformed/monstrous and stitched up. Stuff for the experimented on, rather than the experimenter.

You'll probably get a kick out of the 'ccsuperserum' emote then.

Transformations are nothing inherently unique to the Hulk. These kinds of things were a trope of fiction going back to early mythology. While some players will undoubtedly do what you describe, your post seems to suggest that the addition should be excluded simply because of that fact. Sorry, I've never been a big fan of the rotten apple analogy. I'm more excited about paying for this booster pack than I am about getting I15 for free.

Am I misreading you or was your opening paragraph just an excuse to get to your cute little one-liner?

Very, very, happy.

But I'd be even happier if we had PICS! POST PICS DAMMIT!

I've got to admit, this is *cheap* compared to what I thought as far as "If they ever let you change body type" - I'd assumed it'd be, say, $5-$10 per *character,* once.

As a booster pack item, available from purchase to final server shutdown? Nice.

Yep. $20 put aside to get this on both accounts. >.< Hey, NC, how about a prepaid, got-it-on-release option? Ease the burden on the store!

I don't care much for the costume stuff, but the ability to do the "petite regular person can go HUGE MONSTER FORM" thing is worth far more than $10 all on its own. I don't care how overdone it is, I've wanted it for years.
