Yeppers!

Was not interested in CO in the first place, but this assures I will not even glance at a trial. why bother setting up shop for five years in another game to get where I am now? Always was of a mind that this game would hold its own, but now am sure it will hold everyone else to a higher standard as well. You raised the bar years ago, and now you just chucked that sucker straight into orbit...

Plus emission points and such. Unless/until they manage to work such things in over here. Still, I applaud the effort that must have gone into it. Indeed, I'd rather have I16 than 14 and 15. It's probably too much to hope that it gets here before September.

I'm curious as to the extent it will go. Will we be able to colour the various stone armours? Will coloration affect Kheldian forms? White WSs and Purply PBs? Will making certain powers black cause them to appear invisible?

I'm very happy for all the proponents of power customization. I can't say it was ever high on my priority list, but then the devs exhausted my priority list when they announced Going Rogue.

That's a toughie. It would be great to have some powers become transparent or invisible. I would definitely put some of the powers that obscure my characters' appearances on the transparent setting (if we can select per power, not just a broad stroke across all powers).

Essentially, the appearance of a pixel for the aura is X (the color the pixel should be) + Y (the color of the aura), capped at 0xFFFFFF. X+0x000000 = X. X+0xFFFFFF = 0xFFFFFF. A pure black aura is translucent, and a pure white aura is solid. (The process is a little bit more complicated than that, but it's the gist of the situation)

The alternative would be to make auras multiplicative, but that would just reverse the transparency problem (black would be solid and white would be translucent)

New Maps. We need new maps on both sides of the game. (I think we need new zones and just can some that we already have that suck) BUT, none the less - We need NEW MAPS...

So, like... Prioritise that as something we need and advocate for it.

Since they wouldn't want to kill the dark sets default look they may have changed methods. If this is true we might get it ported to auras. I wish they could work in some sort of slider so we can control the intensity.

Yes, have they found an implemented a solution to this? Like adding a blend mode option to the color selection? That's what I'm wondering. I understood the problem and was just musing on whether they've found a solution while making powers tintable (which would have the same problem).

I fully intend to use that "feature". I want to turn the overly flashy visual f/x of Hasten and Super Speed waaaaaay down.

That's funny... I see a lot of people who don't like those effects, but I think they're awesome. Although I do look forward to having them in some color other than yellow.

I find this coming from a five year vet almost borderline insanity. :P

The basic maps in the game -- office, warehouse, sewer, cave, tech lab -- reveal themselves to the player in the first few levels of the game. From there it is an endless sea of repetition, with "variety" added through slight alterations of the map layouts that are quickly memorized (not to mention the static placement of the critters) with an occasional unique map thrown in and even then they are typically built off existing maps (the cool sewer/office transition to cave maps, the cave maps that transition to Rikti maps, etc.).

You have a standard for variety in maps that is WAY lower than mine or you just don't care about where your characters are fighting. Insane!
