This SUCKS.

Folks, I'm on a limited income. I'm disabled, on social security, and I really shouldn't be paying for City of Heroes in the first place, let alone now being tempted to pay even more to NCSoft for these excellent graphic pieces of art...

This blatant money-grubbing is really insulting to me.

Question...if I buy the temp jetpack, and 25 days later buy it again...when does the temp jetpack expire? 35 days from the second purchase (5 days remaining on first purchase + 30 new days), 30 days from the second purchase (the 5 days remaining are wiped out as it resets the timeout to 30 days), or 5 days from the second purchase (it doesn't reset the timeout if you already have it)? Clearly, as players we expect 35 days, but for the game cards, I think someone said we had to let the jetpack expire before we applied the new one.

Several others have said they are upset for having to pay more for these items. Here is how I justify it on my limited income. I pay for my subscription by the year(yes it can be a big chunk to pay at once) but it also saves me about $36, instead of paying the $15 a month fee. This way I can spend that $36 on slots, packages ect.. and still pay the same as monthly subsrcibers(and basically I get it for free). This year I have spent more than my alloted $36 in extras but I want them. Just another option to think about.

I never said that. I have a credit card. A VISA international credit card. I bought CoH/CoV, Good vs. Evil, and the entire Guild Wars line with it. I also used it to pay for my monthly subscription fee for two years. (Until today.) I can't buy the Bonus Packs with that exact credit card. Or Paypal. Or any other form transaction.

They simply don't allow Brazilian customers to access these products via the NC Store. Logging into the account, before a payment method is even selectable, it tells me this product is not available to me.

No Brazilian brick and mortar store has the Bonus Packs for sale. Level Up! Games doesn't offer it online either.

I know this seems trivial, but for the sake of future recordkeeping, could the description of this code on the account records page be a little more detailed than "Perk?" the Wedding Pack is fully described, and the others codes have short but clear descriptions. If this one said something as simple as "Cyborg" then I would know months from now what it was I had bought. I can't say the same for "Perk."

Uummm, nobody is forcing you to buy any of this stuff. NCSoft has a right to make money just like any other company, offering these add-ons for a small fee. Just like the Purchasable Repecs, Character Slots and Server Transfers.

If you can't afford it, don't buy it. Its that simple. Complaining about it and saying they are "money-grubbers" isn't NCSoft's fault or problem that your are on a fixed income. And no business would model their products and marketing solely because of your unique situation.

Blew myself up in a cluster of Hellions in Perez Park earlier to get a quick warp to Steel's hospital.

If I missed something I apologize in advance, but why don't we get pics of everything included? The artwork is nice, but I don't wanna feel like I got tricked. I think it's pretty reasonable to wanna see what your buying BEFORE you buy it.

Anyone who is wasting their money on the jet pack must be wealthy. To expect someone to pay a monthly fee for anything like that is silly.

Have you folks ever thought of giving jet packs not as temp powers, but as back costume pieces? So your toons have an option other than rocket boots to explain their ability to fly.

Just an FYI, it's not NC's rules... it's Visa/Master Card rule's and reg's or NC's Merchant Bank that this comes from. I'm in Marketing but for a merchant services company....

Is anyone else having trouble buying this thing? Me and my roommate use the same card and he bought his with no problem. There is more than enough money left and it keeps declining me, what gives?

Please, please, PLEASE, make the Cyborg costume options for PANTS available in Monstrous. Pretty please? Also, is the mask supposed to be under Hats? Curious....

Edit: Ok, having looked over the Head options, NOW I understand why it's under the Hats option. It simply wouldn't work under Helmets or Full Helmets. I see, I see....

Edit (2): I meant to say PANTS not LEGS. I'm hoping that we can use them in combination with the existing Robotic options for legs.

One use per day, per card. You have to use a different card to make another purchase. Ran into this problem a long time ago myself when I was running multiple accounts.

Anyone can use the $20 game/jetpack card to pay their monthly fee and get the jetpack every month. (Just be sure not to use a new one until the previous one expired since they don't stack.)

The $5 mini-booster is for those folks who don't want to be bothered to go out and find a physical card.

There are all sorts of fraud prevention measures with credit cards in place on the Store. If you feel your transaction isn't going through when you think it should, our billing team should be able to assist you:
