Robes, skirts, and other shoot that goes beyond the knee looks like trash. I have tried to make a long skirt but it just doesn’t work out to my high standards of fine quality. If I think it looks bad that means you; the players, will loathe it even more.

Jay: "Matt, Brian, I swear the long skirts still look ugly: the tools just don't let us make nice-looking long skirts."

Brian: "Well, if you can't make them longer, I guess you'll have to make them shorter. Much shorter. Selling an expansion pack full of mini-skirts won't be a problem, will it?"

Positron: "No problem. I'll have BaB get started on that trampoline emote right away."

What I have going on for the magic set; that is done and complete, is a compromise. I wouldn’t call it a robe per say, it’s more like a cloak of sorts. I don’t know when marketing is going to release pics and crap, but I think that you guys will like what I did.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cloaks are good. I've been using a sleeveless Black Trenchcoat as a cloak and it only works because the character's a technomage so he looks very Techie anyways.

As much as I like seeing the whole, combined sets, I only use a piece here and there amongst all of my alta.

I was happily supprised by the Valk pack. At first, it looked very "High tech" rather than "Fantasy". However my most "Fantasy"-based character is gettting the most milage out of it.

Magic is a pretty broad theme and trying to wrap it up in a single costume set was a bit of a task. I ended up breaking what I had in mind in to male and female sets. I try to please the masses but I know somebody out there is going to say “oh man, why didn’t he include this, or that?” and to that I say tough nutz.

Thank you for the work you have done and hoping for more love from you. (Now about more options for Katana users Sexy....)

They'd have to upgrade the game engine to handle the jiggle physics first.

Valk pack was so sexy Jay..thanks for the hard work!

The mage stuff sounds very interesting and I simply can't wait to see a screen shot or two of it. I have several magic themed characters that need some arcane lovin. I'm hoping we see another power in this one. And what are the chances we'll get an arcane rune combat aura?

I'm hoping we can get a sneak peak at these sets and release it via the city scoop like we did with the Valkyrie set.

Sounds all good to me so far.

Oh sexy one, why not make them like the trenchcoat (like a cape) from a different anchor point? Robes and long garments often flow like that.

Look just because you do not like Tech some of us actually by the sales A LOT OF us did.

I play alot of Tech Characters that is what I like. I like the tech stuff which is LACKING in this game.

I am also happy for Magic as well. My wife is more into Magic than I.

Saying that many of us have combined the Cyborg pieces into Armor and other pieces even if the character is magical to make some great looks.

Now for the Magic Set, I am excited about this because I have some magic based characters that can use these designs.

Just because you do not like something others do.

They don't even have to be tech. I use some of the pieces in more mundane, and even magical costumes.

The Cyborg face detail works really well as a gold mask for my Pharaoh, and the HUD actually looks really good on specter/wraith type characters if you color the primary Black so it's (near) invisible, then tint the inside white... looks almost like a screaming face.

Read what I said, I do the same thing. Intergrate what is out there.

But I like Tech more than a lot of the fantasy armors and builds we see a lot in this game.

Valk I have added some pieces to my Powersuited Blaster.

Jay, I hope you won't give up on long robes entirely- after all, at one point, you devs said that wings were impossible. Now we have several awesome styles to choose from. Likewise with trenchcoats- for a time we were told those were impossible. Now we have them. My only disappointment is that for so long, the 3 month veteran reward style is all that's been done with them. I'm hoping the magic cloaks will change that.

As of this moment, EB, EBX, Best Buy, 7-11, pretty much none of the stores 'listed' that have CoX cards for sale have them anymore. I spoke with various stores, and they've completely stopped carrying them. Any particular reason why?

They've stopped selling CoH cards a long time ago, they use 'universal' time cards now. Did you tell them or know about this? If you did and they don't carry those either... well then I guess they just stopped cause they didn't see any profit in it or something. I'll swing by and check my local EB soon, I need more time anyways.

If a store stops carrying something and you're asking for it, they are not doing their job. Ask to talk to the manager about ordering things that people actually will buy. There's no compelling reason for them not to at least special order them for you - they CAN and SHOULD do that much. Especially if it's a store where you have shopped before or regularly.

The Best Buys in Indianapolis have the NcSoft time cards either 30 days card or some have the 60 days card.

Are you looking for Time Cards, or Game Cards? Local 7-11 has the latter, which is basically a boxed version you can use for a time card for $5 more (but has the 30 day jet pack)
