A really really long time ago, back when I was just starting out, I posted some suggestions for the game. One of them was a mastermind secondary power-set with a natural theme that was basically empathy, but a little more subtle and with some more buffs/debuffs than healing. Powers like Rally(PBAoE Heal), Invoke Rage(ally buff version of Rage with a different crash) and Break Morale(Enemy AoE debuff, -def/res). It was way before pain domination.

Jranger didn't Jranger the idea, he liked it, he just said it would never happen because MMs with healing abilities was too OP.

That ending really hit hard. I started thinking about what it will be like when it actually happens, and then everything disappears. And then I started tearing up again.

I always thought it was sort of weird how these things happen, especially with kids that have really good support networks of friends and family. I suppose with the dynamics of modern social-media, being always connected is important... that also means always beeing connected to the bullies, and the thought of being harrassed non-stop on all fronts like what has been happening is really disheartening.

I suppose I always figured 'cyber-bullying' was a bit of a stupid concept because the bullies would be easy to put on ignore, but I've had to rethink that.

That's a very tough question! My Virtean Hybrid is way up there on the fun scale (Water/Psi/Lev Blaster), as is my other character PowerGuardian (shield/SS/Energy Tanker). Guess I'll pick... both!

I hope people are going to take lots of good quality screen shots of this final blow-out event that they'd be willing to share. I'm not going to be able to make this one because of Real Life plans

No better time to bump this thread than now I suppose. Those with FB access should check out my gallery I've been setting up for my characters and the game in general. I plan on also archiving more key points of the game from multiple task forces and arcs and such when I get the time.

A one year sub worth sounds like something I'd be willing to do as well. Maybe even more if I have the funds.

Yes, this was a system, although on legacy life support, that was unique and powerful in this game. I'll never really see our master control room come to fruition at this point either, as it demands more prestige than our small RP group is likely to generate... oh well. It was incredibly fun to build these creations, and see the work of other's imaginations given form in this forum, and ingame.

I feel as confused as most of you over what to do. This game was unique, all my characters were unique... best I can hope for is some of my more straight forward heroic toons can get by on Champions but that's about it.

This isn't just another fantasy MMO where I can port my Elf Archer/ranger/hunter to some other game and be on my way. I have super powered merfolk, alien hybrids, sword wielding haunted samurai armor, and so much more that I just won't see again. This is really hard. This was the only MMO to really encourage me to be imaginative about everything I did, I loved it so much for that, and it's something I really can't get elsewhere. Not the same way.

Yes, this would get all of my want. If such a thing were possible, myself and others would like to have characters set in mold by sending you their costume files, should you get better refinement and equipment.... This could be glorious for those attached to their characters.

Given its original logic it`s always had me thinking I would like to see the buff proliferated to other blast sets without aim, like Dual Pistols. Currently,yes, it just adds a small amount of extra base damage to Sniper Rifle.

OR, one can simply place the item normally, select it again while holding the Shift key, and drag it down.

A lot easier.

I have a mighty lot of projects on my plate right now, but they're getting close to finished. When I feel I'm close enough to done to relax them I would be honored to lend you a hand. In-game my global handle is the same as mine here.

An insane revamp would probably be to make it so that forms don't have their own powers....

You select from your powers as per usual, but certain ones can also work in your forms for enhanced/changed effect when said form is active. This would help take care of a few things like slotting, and offer interesting variety if done right, but would be a mandatory and difficult respec for most. It also totally flips the build dynamics on their head compared to what they currently are, and presents whole new challenges for balance.
