You said it yourself, "they likely gained more " ... that was the point ... it's buisness! Yes, I fully understand as a player (not a gamer) that "I want'em all" but logistically, that is just not possible in today's market. Business's are loosing money in so many different ways, they have to make up for it some fashion. So, are player's fashionable? Yep, always has been however, as the market changes ... so must our games.
People we cannot live on our 5, 6, 7 years'+ ago Vet lives and think we will and must live the lavish life. We must move forward or move on. THAT is the name of the game.

This is one of those topics that will go and go, so while it's here ... here's my 2 cent's.

As player's we believe that all that happens should happen for us and us only. What many of us tend to forget is, this is also a business and should be run as such. Are they aware of the other free2play games that are no longer out there? Of course they are! Have they done their research to find out if they will make more money? Again, business. Many of us have talk about the economic issue's we all face and how we can't afford this, we can't afford that and yet here we are, still buying. That my friends is the American way, it's what we do. Your dollars make this game last as long as it has. The more player base, the more time and effort it takes for this to continue ... which cost.

Ok, so I've just spent roughly 500+ point and came out pretty good. I have all of the costume pieces except the boots (which I don't want or need) and the Gloves (which I want very badly). All in all, I bought enough that I can sell and make a small mint, store for my lowbie sg mates and the rest use and abuse when needed.

I don't think it was so bad, I came out waaay better than I thought for spending less than half of the 24 pack and still recieved 5 ATO's. Sorry to those who are not enjoying.

Edit: The question is, do I sell now and make as much as I can?

I don't actually get that particuarly box (which I know what your refering to). This happens after I click play at the launcher. I'll post setup info shortly. Sorry, not as tech savy as I use to be. Thanks.

Yeah, 20 mill use to catch a crowd...lol. Now it might get you 10 folks at best.

So what happened? Use to be I'd see a Costume Contest every other hour. Now I can't remember the last time I logged on and saw one.

When I logged in earlier this week after the update, I recieved an error at startup stating; "Warning - detected crash." Msg box said "The game failed to start on the last attempt." Then it goes on to say system requirements etc... "Would you like to try the games safe mode?"

I was playing perfectly fine up until that day, now I'm crashing more. I've reinstalled the game and still same msg. Any idea's?

I was in and playing fine last night. This morning I go to log in and it says, " You must fill out the account and password fields to log in to your account!". Account name is prefield thanks to the save option. Password is the same as it was last night and the last 3 years ... whats the problem?

I think I'll quit because Captain Crunch jacks up the roof of my mouth!

I originally started on Protector and later found my way to Virtue ... being new (at the time) to the MMO world I had no idea what RP was or meant. However like many have said thus far, I have found my own way of RP'ing when I do do it. I had no guide nor anyone to show me what it meant or how. To me, the best thing about my learning experience ... was the learning. Personally, I'd avoid PD as well. Too many emo's for me. 8)

Ok, lvl 53 IO's... do they exist?

I've never seen one and yet they show as items to be sold...

Either way I waisted a day off... all day!

Seems as long as I avoid Atlas on Virture I'm good ... problem is making my way out of Atlas before I get mapserved... lol.
Surprised it's still happening... especially this long.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Most of my toons start all day jobs in Atlas so that's where a lot of them are atm... and that's where the mapserving was taking place, for me at least.

It wasn't until someone mentioned it, then it happened to me... now I can't seem to stay logged in.

I play on Virture and keep trying to log a toon into Atlas and 10 seconds later Mapserved... anyone know what's up?

Its been a while since I've been on the forums... as well as making any edits to my base. Can anyone tell me what the most recent addition or change was? Last I remember was the "stacking" ability and removal of invention salvage... anything else since then?

Wow wish I had 100 mill influ to match with ya... I could use any extra prestige I could get my hands on. Don't get me wrong... our base isn't bad, I just I know it could be a hell of a lot better. Good luck to all who able!
