Retro Sci Fi Costume Set: Space Suits! - Vote for what we make!
I really enjoy the unique flavor of set C! Vote however your heart desires, y'all!
Cheat Detail, Shoulders and Boots from A
Everything else from C
Do me a favor everyone:
Please don't try to influence other people's votes. We want for everyone to vote their own preference (if there was an option to do this completely blind, we would).

I will just say I approve of this use of polls. Asking the playerbase (or at least the forum goers) is a good thing.
Edit: Also, is there no 'All of the above' option?
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Would be great if the comments didn't show until you voted.
Myself, I like 'B' simply because it looks more versatile and would work for the greatest number of concepts.
On the topic of retro sci fi, how about a speedsuit?
Remember, the crotch should be tailored so that it hangs six inches below the bottom of the natural inseam.

Out of curiosity, are you announcing this in the Gmotd? Because you really should. To get more than the forum going populace.

My personal opinion is that without the accordion-pleated joints and the discs, it's not really retro sci fi. Although I am curious about something important, related to the discs: are the overlapping shoulder pieces on C separate from the chest part, or included in it like a jacket? I'm hoping it's the former, because when I use it, it'll be with the shoulder discs, instead of those protrusions.
I'm looking longingly at the chest symbol on A, but I can make do with the jewels and/or the Stealth straps and/or the bandolier straps if it gets me the accordion-pleated joints and the wrist and ankle discs.

B. Makes me think of Isaac Clarke's suit from (insert other game involving necromorphs) and that's a good thing.
You've wanted more control and now you have it.
Tricky. I like the chest, pants, and "belt" from C, the boots and gloves from B, and the chest emblem from A.
I love the glow lines on B, but I like the beepityboop on the chest of A! Agh! Can't decide! So awesome. ...(My vote's B, looks like a chest detail could hide the bloopitybop on A, and the glow lines would go so awesome with the Clockwork, Enforcer, or IDF chests! )
If A had little blinky lights on the chest part I'd totally pick that one.

Wow, that was hard to choose. I liked parts of all three. It will be interesting to see what ends up included.
I have to vote for B. Have to.
Definite vote for A, here. B and C look too much like reskins of existing costumes. C's design in particular is very reminiscent of the armored chest and legs pieces.

Last year at the very first Freedom Player Summit, we introduced the design a costume set workshop. After our initial pass, and much discussion between the art team and the Community, we've now narrowed down the selections. Now it's back to the Community to help us decide on the final product!
Between now and Thursday, February 9th 2012, you can submit your vote for which pieces we should include in the finished version.
Of course, should anything happen that would change the outcome of the final selection, we'll communicate this to you.
So get out the vote and help us decide our very first Community co-created costume set!
