Super Packs Update 2/13/2012 - The Numbers

So much...nonsense in these packs, but alas, if I want the Elemental Order pieces, and I do, I have to clutter up my inventory with inspirations and temp powers.

Did we ever add a delete button?

Also, I hope I get a closer to $10 price for the costume set and not the higher end of the bell curve and end up paying $35. A bit much for a thematically related costume pack, wouldn't you say?

Curses on all the future packs holding hostage more awesome costume sets. I'm tempted to boycott them now, but I know it won't stop them from releasing more sets this way, so *sigh*.

Given that it took me over 30 packs to get the complete costume set on beta... several hundred to get *one* complete ATO set (and it wasn't the set I wanted-)... and over 700 to get the black wolf?

I won't be spending any extra money on these things. They're just not worth the gamble, and I really hope the devs eventually change their stance on releasing the costume set in some other way.

Just got the full set, and spent less cash than I would have on a normal bundle to get them. I fully support these packs!

..... I will not be buying this at all... why? Go look at Perfect World and the backlash of people about packs and packs and packs. People spend and spend and get crap. I tried a few packs and after realizing I wasted good money on crap I didn't want, I refused to buy them again. Also they just kept bring out packs over and over and over again is annoying to no end. My love for COH is because we don't have this and now we do, just disappointing. I don't have to buy so I won't but kinda annoying that now good stuff you may really really want is shoved into a pack with such crap chance of getting.

What is "weight" ?

All I got to say the market right has solved my money issues for months.

95% is useless to me. Only the emental costume parts (rare) and teh almost impossible to get Black Wolf pet (0,3% Very Rare?!).

I would pay 600 point for the wolf alone. I still am not buying any gamble pack at all.

Why are Reward Merits even in the Super Packs, can't we already just earn those just by playing the game? C/U/R/V cards, I remember that from some dark place in my past...

Suddenly I am having flashbacks to almost 20 years ago when West Coast Drug Pushers released Cardboard / Cardstock Crack as a new addiction that rapidly addicted many of pencil and paper basement players. Quick, I'm having flashbacks, someone get me my CCG "methadone"! Someone slip me a pack of Bicycle playing cards still in the cellophane. Ohhh Yeahh, that's the stuff, cut my deck, fan the cards, and give me a sniff. But please, someone stop me before I start cutting myself with them.

one uncommon / rare ina pack guaranteed. That is a 10% drop of the pack?
a very rare might be 25% chance its a vr instead of a rare.

the Black Wolf will never drop for less then 200 packs bought. And even then your extremely lucky.

It is the only pet my vampire witch main would ever want, and I am not spending close to 200-300 dollars on it .. ever!

Cant you make the wolf pet a reward for a huge tf or trial? I fight off all Arch heroes and more one by one to get it.

Saved up points for these so bought 12 packs and all im missing is 2 of the costume pieces, had a ton of merits and quite a few handy ATO's.

I'll be buying a few of these out of spare points monthly!

I like the costume set, don't care about the ATIO's nor the consumable filler. Would buy the costume set outright, will not buy gamble-packs.

As long as these aren't yet another limited time deal, I can see 'wasting' a buck here and there over the next few weeks trying to get the complete costume set. I most likely won't ever touch them after that though, unless I'm just really lucky.

I bought only 5 packs to give it a try since I had more than 3.000 points.
I got all the costume pieces, I think only the boots left.
I think you guys should stop complain and give them a try.
I got the belt and the shoulder piece (the pieces I was more intereset of) in the first pack!
Cant wait for next round of super packs!

I really wish they had put enhancement converters in at the same time. :/

It sucks to look at all of these ATIOs and not be able to convert them to something I can actually use.

It took 22 packs for me to unlock the last piece of the costume set (for me it was the backpack).

Perhaps the devs should consider adding the Elemental Order pieces as rare or very rare recipe drops after a few months, that unlock the pieces on your whole account when crafted.
