Did you have to eat the entire steak before complaining about it?
It isnt the most horrible thing you have put in your mouth, and it is not off, so you won't get food poisoning, but it is clearly not the best thing you have wrapped your tongue around either. Do you:

All in all in the economic times we are in I can't be the only one that only affords VIP because of my tax return I am lucky if i can pull the money every week for gas in my car and food. I can't be the only one upset about loosing a granted thing VIP players had prior to i21....

Keep this in mind. Prior to i21, if you stopped paying your sub you lost EVERYTHING until you paid your sub again.
Despite all the facts, Shubbie continues to stick to his guns. There's something to be said for consistencey. Go, underdog, go!

More seriously, there are only two things you can purchase for this game: VIP time, and Paragon Points. It's hard to argue that you're dissatisfied with Paragon Points, or that the PPs are damaged or somesuch; while you could probably technically get a refund for the PPs under UK law, it's an unlikely situation if the seller doesn't want to. VIP time can't be returned, so there's no way you could get a refund under the Sale of Goods Act (IANAL).
Spending Paragon Points on the Street Justice set is not a monetary transaction. As such, even if you took the issue to court in the UK, you're unlikely to get a refund out of it.

While I don't want a refund, the original post Is correct. The set is really lacking, even as a brute. I'm really disappointed with it actually . I wanted to love this set, but the damage just stinks, even with fury. Now that my guys 50, he'll probably never see the light of day
40 50s so far.
if you dont like me....i dont really care.
respect is earned , never given
This thread actually got less ridiculous once ponies got involved.

Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

Have fun with your entitlement issues.
You failed to do any research at all before spending money on something the second it became available.
You spent money on something before you knew anything about it. And now your'e upset because you don't like it and want your money back, which you spent on a completely uninformed purchase?
Tough.
By your logic, if I don't like a movie that I paid money to see, the movie theater is obligated to give my money back, even though I had ample time and ability to research what the movie was about and what other people thought of it first.
Doesn't work like that. Expecting paragon to give your money back every time you impulse buy something you didn't research first is completely unrealistic.
Chalk it up to a lesson learned. If you had waited 24 hours before making your purchase, you could have viewed the numbers in Mid's and/or gotten feedback from other players before buying it. The feedback wouldn't have helped much, because most of the people I've talked to love the set and you're claiming it's the worst set in the entire game.
Doesn't change the fact that you bought something sight unseen without even the slightest attempt at finding out anything about it. You are now the proud owner of a powerset you hate because of that.
And just for the record: It is highly doubtful that the devs give a chrome-plated turd about losing you as a customer.

Were we able to get a reasonable means of previewing and testing these sets prior to purchasing them, I would agree.

There WERE reasonable means of previewing and testing.
Simply because YOU find them unreasonable doesn't mean it is.

A: Ask the other patrons of the restaurant what the refund policy is. B: Chalk it up to experience and not order something new until it has been critiqued. C: Threaten to take your biznatch elsewhere. D: Talk to an actual representative of the restaurant. |

Op, as a chef you go to a favorite restaurant and order something new off the menu, something that reads very well from the description(No, the description doesn't include the name of the cow the meat came from, or the address of the kid who picked the veggies that morning, but it is a good description.), yet hasn't had a chance to be reviewed by any critics. Now it turns out that you don't like that dish.
