Meh, not that bad, it happens once in a blue moon, it's not like you get mezzed all the time, try playing squishies with toggles like radiation, time, elec/ice/fire control and then it can get a little bothersome.

Try relogging, this happened to me a few times with TW and BR toons.

Since this is in the Tanker forums I assume he can't skip Def Sweep.
So yeah, CB or Titan but those two are great for leveling especially since you get the best ones later as a Tanker.

Suppressed Hide+SD gives the same amount of def as Cloak of Darkness, and CoD costs endurance. So it's not useless since it eases building for defense if you use IOs, plus perception and immob protection is great for a passive.

Also, it's not required either, you can get Combat Jumping for the immob protection if you don't really need +perception.

Teaming. I've been gifted a 6 month sub of the other superhero MMO. I read about how much it had improved since launch so I was eager to try it out again. Game is fun, great gfx, love the combat, you get a travel power earlier than CoH if you skip the tutorial, awesome customization and powers, etc. Looks like it would be the ideal game for me when I don't want to play CoH since I spend more time burned out on it than ingame these days.

But... NO TEAMING. I'll try to level a toon to the cap there since I have 6 months but... Dammit, even the forum addict veterans there say that you're not expected to find teams before the last ten levels or so in some trials or whatever (so only in special missions, not regular ones). I had that experience in other MMOs I tried before. For the most part, it's like a single player game where you see other players killing stuff and people talking about their experiences in the chat channels, but very rarely actually playing with each other.

Hasn't happened to me in awhile but in previous updates I got the Trojan message using ESET Smart Security (the more complete version of NOD32). At the time I downloaded some free antivirus programs to test, they didn't accuse it so I assumed it was a false positive. But as I said it's been some time I don't get a trojan message with my AV program, it happened 3 or 4 times before with prior updates tho.

Must be a commercial decision. I mean, how many people do you see today with time, beam rifle, elec control, dark blast (since the blaster version is kinda different)... I still see tons of StJ and lately the amount of melee toons (of all kinds) in any team has been staggering, nowadays it's not uncommon to see 2-3 Tankers on a team. Not even counting TW because it's too new but I guess it will remain popular since it's so good.

The only non melee 'newish' powerset I still see plenty is Dual Pistols.

I'd say so. But looking at the powers yesterday (not at home today, no game here) I was wondering if Mercurial might be a better choice than the tier 2 which I forgot the name. Mercurial does -def and probably accepts an Achilles proc, the tier 2 has a chance for mag 2 stun iirc. So maybe it's one of these tier 1 powers that are better than the tier 2 like in Katana or Elec Melee, not 100% sure but looked like it to me.

I only have 2 incarnates, with the first one months ago ppl were doing Lambdas the way you described.

On my second toon (which I did 1.5 months ago) I saw everyone advertising 'Slam'. When I asked they said it was 'Speed Lambda' - besides only clearing the Courtyard, we also ignore acids and just go for grenades. That's how ppl have been doing on Freedom for the last months, and on Virtue too (I only have one 50 on virtue which is the one I incarnated long ago but I see Slams advertised on the Virtue channels all the time).
