Cannot Log Into Street Justice character

Posted

When I attempt to log into my Street Justice character I get an error message saying I haven't paid for it and offering to take me to the store.

Obviously, I have in order to even have the character. This bug appeared today after the patch, and I have submitted a petition. I suggest everyone check their StJ characters to be sure you can get in.

Try relogging, this happened to me a few times with TW and BR toons.

Yes restart the game / or a fresh reboot and it should correct itself.

I didn't even have to go that far. Just hitting "Back" to the server list and reselecting the server cleared it up for me. I have had it happen intermittently (but rarely) for several months now.

This happened to me too, and when I logged back in it asked my security question and had me verify a new IP address, which makes me suspicious. I hope that by verifying the new address I have not put my account in jeopardy. I don't understand why my IP address would have changed...

Most broadband connections use dynamic IPs - its just that they have a longer lease period and generally renew before they expire.
Because of this there is no guarantee that your IP address will remain the same from one day to the next. If you haven't had that PC online for a few days that would increase the chance of it changing. If your ISP has made changes to its network infrastructure there would be a good chance of it changing also.
If you are on Dial Up/ISDN still it is almost certain it will change.
