Possible clue to next boosterpack?
I had no idea the graphics settings could go that low

Perhaps he means that the next booster pack will zap all our computers back to the eighties, including graphics. Those look like some 1980s graphics for sure; thats one level above Pac-Man.
The Steampunk pack is totally 80's.
1880's.
.
He lowered his 3D...something or another...it's right under video resolution. I use it during raids and stuff. Helps when graphics cause crashes.
Those graphics look like they're from the 80s
That being said i can't imagine anything from the 80's that could be seen as anything to do with heroes, still hoping that dinosaur/reptile pack makes it way out v.soon though!
@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!
I remember the 80's there was very little good about it, and NOTHING worth making into a booster pack.
Forgotten how bad the 80's were? Watch Hot Tub Time Machine.

If we don't get all of this, if we do get an 80's pack, I'm going to break out the Zubaz pants, peg the legs, and break out the freshest grooves out in front of Paragon Studios!
pohsyb: so of all people you must be most excited about the veats
Arachnos Commander: actually, I am
pohsyb: I mean you kinda were one already anyways ^_^

I hang my head and weep.
Hey, add some stone washed jeans, or some parachute pants. I am not serious by the way. I really can't express my hatred for the majority of the decade.
Besides, that would also mean they are just plain ignoring the costume request thread.

An entire booster pack of nothing but shoulder pads and big hair?
^%&* YEAH!
Brawling Cactus from a distant planet.
Big hair
Shoulder pads
Leg warmers
Hi-tops with fat laces
the Thriller jacket
Flux Capacitor chest detail
Blazing Swords
eh. sounds cute, but I'm not sold. There are a lot of other booster packs I'd rather see before an "I Love the 80s" pack of gaudy crap.
Stay Gold, Paragon. Stay Gold.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
For what it's worth, "The Eighties" had a pretty distinctive ("dark and gritty", supposedly) style in comic books, too, that had not-much to do with Hammer Pants or big hair.
...not that I'm any more in for a Rob Liefeld booster pack than a MC Hammer booster, but I do think the first is more likely than the second.

Frank Miller did have some really dark runs in Batman, and Dare Devil in the 80's though.

I would rather see lots of spandex classic 80 superhero looks.
Lots of new patterns, new cool textures for spandex tight, tight with skin streamlined, lots of superheroic leather and spandex belts, boots and gloves.
Also new classic masks with textures and 80s hairstyles.
Classic 80s superhero stuff.
I think the classic superhero costume pieces need an update badly.
A lot of the clothes and music from the 80s are awesome

A Rob Liefeld booster pack... Wouldn't that just add another 100% on to all the body sliders so you could make that barrel chested, tiny-headed, too many gun-toting, skinny-waisted, bowling ball-smuggling, ballerina-footed monstrosity you've always dreamed of?
I'd almost rather see a 1950's retro B-movie booster pack, with classic "discombobulator" blasters, old Flash Gordon style jet packs, astronaut "bubble helmets", lots of kooky alien skins and heads, Jacob's ladder antennae, Tesla coils, Cadillac fins, beehive hairdos, antigravity belts, etc etc etc...

I think Johnny is right <shudders at saying that>. It's the 1880's.
We already have plenty of pieces to make 80's style costumes.
There are other booster pack ideas much more worthy than a 1980's pack.

What, no MacGuyver temp power? I want to be able to make a jetpack out of some string and bubblegum!

Mostly Pinnacle, with scattered alts on Liberty, Freedom, and Justice.
I had a great time playing with you!

For all you know Zwillinger was rick-rolling you.
Zwillinger showed up on Virtue today to check out a CC. His bio has me thinking....
