We see clipping aberrations all the time, but then some cool options with minor clipping issues are not avalaible.
It makes no sense at all like tons of things in the character creator. ( I need a sleeveless trenchcoat option so I can put the awesome resistance double shoulder pads
)If devs say, "We want to keep the VG NPCs more unique and different" ok, but the clipping excuse is too old.

I am happy to see there are nearly zero players actually complaining about free stuff. It still baffles me there are any though.

My first thought when I saw the words "Vanguard Pack" were that it would FINALLY let us use the upper leg armor and back armor that REAL Vanguard have, possibly with the back armor "attached" to the chest detail piece so that the one piece gives you front and back coverage, like the Praetorian chest detail options. So, well, that was disappointing, technically. But the Vanguard Pack still seems pretty nice. Lookin' forward to that MVAS!
PLEEEEEASE more front-n-back chest detail options like the Praetorian stuff, though!

So, overall, I like. I've been wanting the Assault Rifle vanguard option on several characters for a while now, and now I won't have to slave them into MS raids to get it. MS raids on an AR/DEV blaster are painful, to say the least.
But I'm 'meh' on the non-combat pet. I see some people like it...I'm sorry, I prefer some functionality over zero function. This is why I don't even bother redeeming my non-combat pet vet 'reward.' But, I recognize that this is my OPINION, and isn't shared by all.
But a suggestion, if this will be a theme moving forward (the idea of account-wide unlocks of certain things): I've wanted the 'Power Slide' item for Sprint for a LONG time now, but there's just no way to get it. I understand that it was meant to be a prestige thing for certain preorders of a boxed set or something, but is there any way to make that available in some way/shape/form for people? I want the Iceman-slide effect, nao! :^)
Basically too many 50's to count, but I'm generally a brute/scrapper/tank kind of guy.
Cool.. new stuff is always cool! I will keep my account active for sure...
There is one logical thing I notice though and have to say here...
- Last time this happened (loyalty programm) was during the first months of start of CO. I can see it was partly meant to keep players from quitting COX and going over to CO. So those subs where still active if and/when CO would fall flat.
- Now its again... and strangely it falls in the months that DCUO is starting up. I don't believe in coincidence :S
But yeh! to free stuff...

Edit: Oops. I had originally asked if the Vanguard Pack included the costume change emote. And I see by Black Pebble's post it does. So, I'll just link to what it is for those who don't know. It is unlocked at a Vanguard invention table in the RWZ for 100 V-Merits.

Regarding the Prestige Power Slide, it's available from the DVD Collector's edition. It's increasingly hard to find these days, but Amazon still has sellers starting from $65. If you search harder, you may be able to find it elsewhere for less, this is what I could find in about 15 seconds of looking.

Non Combat Pet, very Cool.
Here is one thing I would Like to see:
Character Transfer. Not just from one server to another, but one ACCOUNT to another. To prevent people from selling characters to others, both CoX accounts must have the same NCSoft master account (which means both accounts are yours, and linked to your main NCSoft Account). This can also allow the badge for transfer to another account (the one that ppl got when they transfered from the NA servers to the EU ones).
Even if one had to pay for it, even if said transfer took a while to process while someone actually transfered said character.
I would rather have a day or two of free transfers than all of this junk.
So...WHY are they still locked out for PCs? It makes no sense!
