Me, too, ever since i21 dropped. I attributed it to server lag at first, but I've been playing at times on light-loaded servers and still have the issue.

My issue manifests itself as intermittent green bar spikes on netgraph (skiplag, teleporting enemies, etc.) about every 2-5 seconds for about 1 second each. Pingrate is usually between 150-200. Redbars are minimal. Other internet activities unaffected. Can still stream Netflix stuff just fine, etc.

Let's see-GPU is an ATI EAH5870 1GB, running Win7-64, running 4GB 1333 mHz RAM, processor is...well, I forget the exact model, but it's an ATI quadcore running at 3.4 GHz.

So we pushed 2 itf's through, back to back. Many shards and much xp were obtained by all, and I think we generally had a good time. We even got 1 person to 50 (go Kay Parfait!).

So, I think for the time being at least, we'll continue to bow to the pressure and do the WTF. So, next Wednesday, 1930 CST-meet up for the WTF (which is, I believe, Tin Mage?)!

I'm going to put together 2 back to back ITF's tonight. They'll be modified speed runs, where we kill what we need to kill along the way. No speeding through the cyst mission. C'mon out, get some shards, have some fun!

1930 CST, Wednesday 3/16/11!

Ah, yes...perhaps *something* did come out. I forget about what that might do to our hardcore veteran playerbase. Things might be slow for a few weeks, then.

Unfortunately, we only had 1 taker last night for Moonfire. It seems Wednesday nights are still too early for people. They're all still hung up on the WTF and running it like crazy.

What do people think of Friday nights instead? I might either hang up the Wednesday night thing, permanently change it to the WTF run, or switch it to Fridays at 2000 CST. Thoughts?

So we did the Numina tf last week-it was a little tougher to get it together, and we ended up with a team consisting of 2 tanks, a controller, and 2 doms. However, we pushed through and actually didn't do too badly.

This week, I'd like to do a Moonfire tf over in Striga. So Wednesday, 3/9/11, 1930 CST, c'mon over to the Council base and we'll tear things up a little bit. :^)

Manticore TF went very well-much fun had by all, and lots of xp gained. A person or two got TF Commander accolade, and several people leveled. Success! :^)

I asked a few of the attendees what they'd like to do next week, and several said they don't yet have Numina on some characters. I know we did it semi-recently, but I'm going to go ahead and make next week's run a Numina tf once again to accommodate those people (and hey, I have another toon that wouldn't mind getting it, too).

So, next Wednesday, 3/2/11, 1930 CST-Numina tf! C'mon out and try something OTHER than the WTF! :^)

I did try to get in, but RWZ was full. Thankfully, I got on a very good team that did back to back Apex and Tin Mage tf's, with a 3rd Apex afterwards. VERY fun, and got me my 2nd 3rd tier Alpha built...now only 2-3 more weeks of work and WTF's to hit my 4th tier. :^)

But next week, I hope to get in a little earlier and get on a good, solid MSRaid.

So we pummeled through a LGTF VERY quickly. Maybe a little too quickly? But shards, merits, bonuses, and notices were garnered by all. Anyway, what to do next week?

I'm thinking next week we hit another one of the lowbie/big 6 ones on hero side. I haven't returned to villain side in a bit, but we could do that too in coming weeks, if people want to. But for now:

A little late on my usual update-we managed to squeak out both Posi I and II last week. This week, since my time is a little limited due to some work stuff, I think I might be lazy and just do the WTF. I think it's Lady Grey this week, so let's do that-

I can't make it tonight-got a work thing at 1830 CST that's going to run an hour or two. Maybe I can make it back in time to sneak into the end, we'll see. :^)

So how did it go? I was busy and couldn't make it, sorry!

So things came back up, and we did a nice Synapse. About 2 hours, lots of xp and fun had by all (and progress towards the accolade!). There were a bajillion STF's firing up, so I considered doing that instead...but honestly, I'm not very good at the STF/LRSF. :^P

Anyway, next week, we're going to go ahead and do Positron I *and* Positron II, back to back. They're short enough that I think we can do them. So, if you've got a lowbie that you want to level up quicker, or that old character that still needs these for the accolade, c'mon out!

Wednesday, 2/9/11 at 1930 Central!

Still planning on a tf tonight at 1930 Central time. We were going to do Synapse, and we probably still will (because I completely suck at the STF/LRSF). But we can meet up in Skyway and discuss it from there. Come out, come out, wherever you are!

I run a weekly tf/sf on Wednesday nights at 1930 CST. We were going to do Synapse this week, but we'll probably defer to whatever the selected one is because, y'know, the idea is new and shiny. :^)

Great showing last night-in fact, a little TOO great. A couple of people were left out. Think we had 10 people show up. I'm sorry guys! Uh...I suppose if I was a little more adept at things, I could've split us into 2 5 man teams for this. My apologies, as I just now realized this. :^(

So next week, we'll do a Synapse TF at 1930 CST. Come out and smack some psychically-controlled robots around, and get one of the tf's you need for the accolade! Hope to see people there!

Also, did people see the items under the Strike Pack thing? This will definitely be included in my weekly tf runs. We'll have to see how it all unfolds, but why not initially plan on making whatever tf is the Strike one for the week? Just seems to make sense to me. We'll see what happens with it in early February.

So we ran a nice little Hess TF last night. It was a little bumpy getting it going-I had to beg a little in TW2.0. But we did it, and I think much fun and xp was had by all! :^)

Next Wednesday, 1/26/11 (just before 2x weekend gets going)-I'm going to do a Numina TF at 1930 CST. Hope to see people there!

Ahhh....I love USEFUL vet rewards. I always prefer function over form. Both of these are very, very nice.

So, overall, I like. I've been wanting the Assault Rifle vanguard option on several characters for a while now, and now I won't have to slave them into MS raids to get it. MS raids on an AR/DEV blaster are painful, to say the least.

But I'm 'meh' on the non-combat pet. I see some people like it...I'm sorry, I prefer some functionality over zero function. This is why I don't even bother redeeming my non-combat pet vet 'reward.' But, I recognize that this is my OPINION, and isn't shared by all.

But a suggestion, if this will be a theme moving forward (the idea of account-wide unlocks of certain things): I've wanted the 'Power Slide' item for Sprint for a LONG time now, but there's just no way to get it. I understand that it was meant to be a prestige thing for certain preorders of a boxed set or something, but is there any way to make that available in some way/shape/form for people? I want the Iceman-slide effect, nao! :^)

I'm sure there's a guide somewhere, but as usual, my search-fu is weak. I'm doing a DB/SR scrapper. I don't do Mids and all that, but I'm basically up on the sets and how to slot/IO out a build. Call me a high-level amateur. ;^) Here's my basic question-is it possible or advisable to attempt for perma-Elude over soft-capping my 3 main defense types?

I'm thinking about keeping 2 builds-one with soft-capped big 3 defenses, and another with perma-Elude (if it's possible). But being as I've never perma'ed anything, I thought I would turn to the forums to ask if it even works before attempting it. I'm assuming I'd have to pull Hasten in (well, duh!), then slot several LotG's and several more sets with +rchg boosts. Thoughts? Thanks!

Hmmm-so then, if we don't interfere with MS/Hami raids, that pretty much leaves Wednesdays. I *might* be able to do Thursdays, but I won't know until about 1-2 weeks from now.

Why don't we plan on our first foray on Wednesday, 1/19/11, at 1930 CST (7:30 pm)? Just reply here if you think you'll be on. I'll shamelessly bump my own thread early next week to remind people. Hope to see you guys out there! :^)
