As Hal Jordan would say, "I know right?"

I am dearly hoping all of that is cleaned up before the release, because Green Lantern deserves to be done right and this movie should be the one that revitalizes DC's film franchises.

If it still looks like that when it's released I'll be a sad/angry panda.

Let's hope they just gave ET some crappy footage and the polished stuff is in the trailer next week. There just isn't an emote that properly conveys how hard I'm crossing my fingers now.

I'm more excited after the trailer then I was before. My concern after the trailer was about the dialogue.

I just felt my level of anticipation drop.

Who gives a ****? Mark Strong as Sinestro was the only thing I needed to hear to be sold on this.

Aw, crap. It looks like it's going to be a comedy a la The Green Hornet. Color me "not impressed."

Hey, you just got superpowers, you earn the right to be a bit giddy until you learn what it means to be a Lantern.

Hmmm...hard to judge on that bit of a preview imo.

It could go either way.

I don't know. I think it looks pretty good. At least as good as "Clash of the Ti.. LOL Ha Ha Ha Ha... snort... I'm sorry, I just can't keep a straight face saying that.

It does look horrible.

All I can say is it better be as good as this Fan Made Trailer or it will be epic fail.

Green Lantern has black arms and legs and white gloves. Without the contrast he just looks like a giant bogey. Not impressed.

The effects do look cheesy but they might be improved between now and the movie hitting the theaters. I'm more concerned with Ryan Reynolds coming across like he does in everything I've ever seen him in. I want to see Hal Jordan, not Ryan Reynolds.

From what I understand of movie production, the footage that gets sent for trailors and sneak-peaks aren't final cut quality. I sincerely hope the effects get some more work between this and the release.

On the subject of Hals attitude... I think it's appropriate. Especially if we are going with the concept that he gets the ring and gets sent to 'boot camp' to learn how to use it properly. Looking forward to seeing Kilawog say 'Poozer'.

I offically refused to comment.

1) I couldn't hear anything
2) Wow...choppy much? Couldn't see anything distinctly enough to tell if I hated it or not.

At this point, I do not hate what I've seen and am still looking forward to the movie. Please note that I will advise of a change should one come to pass. Thank you for your consideration.

Hmm. I like Ryan Reynolds. I liked Hal Jordan before Emerald Twilight and Geoff Johns happened to him. I want to like this movie. I will reserve advance judgement at least until Tuesday when they show more, but my enthusiasm level has fallen, also.

But hey, this is all very, very preliminary and doesn't necessarily reflect the final product, right? Right?

I'd say it reflects about 85 to 90% of the final product. The remaining percentage being the final touch-ups to the CGI/effects/etc.

Ahh. I'm still excited by a GL movie. I liked the part with Killowog getting in "Jordan's" face. Cool stuff. Here's to hoping that the CGI gets a tune-up in time for the release.

I thought it looked fine. Significantly better in motion than it did in stills.
