I got one as well but it was in my spam folder. If you all haden't made a big fuss about it I would have never seen it.

I got one, in French, on only one of my accounts. Seemed quite odd. I went to check that account, and there was no sign of Aion taint in it.
My original theory was that because the account originated in Quebec, that might explain it . . . but after seeing this thread, well, clearly it's not limited to French speaking communities.

I got one, in French, and Gmail dropped it straight into spam. The mail used an email address that I only used with NCSoft, so it was either legit or NCSoft got hacked.

NCsoft didn't get hacked, it is legit. All the links go to the regular place that all the previous Aion newsletter links went to. And aside from an American-centric con mention and a program that may be NA-only, it's exactly the same email, with the same images (other than localisation), etc. Someone just really warrgarbled the French recipients.

Hey Gob thanks for posting this. I was wondering what was going on. I got 2 as well. If its fake they really did a great job putting it together. Like most others I have never played Aion and am not french. I can kinda read it and it didnt read badly no grammar errors I could see. *shrug* I have no interest in Aion so wasnt an issue beyond getting it

Aion has nothing to do with it *shrugs* I've gotten 3 of the French ones now, and the one English one for the account that I have. That said, every single time there's a CoH newsletter, I get it anywhere from 6 to 12 times. Does that make Paragon Studios incompetent? Of course not, it makes whoever wrote the mailing list software incompetent, which is a third party.

I got one in French, then 2 more in French. Looks like you get one for every account that is registered, active or not. Definitely a market flub.
