I've been gone a few issues, what is this thread about?
Edit: Oh, the weekly strike target thing, right right. -
Quote:Those are my specs too. I rolled back to 11.4 and it works for me. Remember that to roll back, you need to uninstall Catalyst, restart, THEN install 11.4.Same issues for me with ATI 6870, Windows 7 x64 and 8gb ram - 11.8 hard locks occasionally forcing me to Ctrl+Alt+Del to punch out from Task Manager.
Usually it locks when I step away for a few minutes to get a drink/bio and after 5 minutes or so of no movement it locks. -
Ok, rolled back to 11.4 and things are running smooth.
-
No luck with 11.8 here. =/ Just updated and still got a game freeze/crash after about 30 minutes of play.
-
I resubbed a couple days ago, and since the last time I played, I've built myself a new computer. All was running well and good until I froze and crashed. I figured it might just be because I was in a crowded raid, but then even when running tip missions alone, I kept on crashing. I have no idea what's up with it.
My specs are:
Operating System
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00 GB DDR3 @ 798MHz (6-6-6-20)
Motherboard
MSI P67A-GD65 (MS-7681) (SOCKET 0)
Graphics
VA2231 Series (1920x1080@60Hz)
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
Hard Drives
977GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives
ASUS DRW-24B1ST a SCSI CdRom Device
ELBY CLONEDRIVE SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
High Definition Audio Device -
I got mine today half-way through an LGTF. I had bought the Gra'i Matter beforehand with V-Merits, and I accumulated enough shards by about the third mission to buy the other two pieces.
I was feeling amazing with my Spiritual Boost until after the TF when I realized I forgot to actually slot it.Hello, placebo effect.

Quote:Excellent call, David.Hey, guys. Just wanted to thank everyone for casting a vote and for helping us get a better picture of what the playerbase is thinking. Here's my takeaway from reading the 22+ pages of thoughts on the topic: Arguments on both sides were compelling to the point where a third option, perhaps involving the menu setup, seems like the best way to satisfy all parties. This is NOT a promise of future action, but it's the view I'll express on your behalf.
So yay--everyone wins. We'll make every effort to create new pieces that give you all better options in areas that might be lacking. And don't worry, Option 2 folks--nothing will be removed from the system.
If anyone would like to comment further about specific costume pieces, please don't hesitate to post in the All Things Art thread.
Cheers,
Noble SavageMuch appreciated.

Quote:This, though I think I'd prefer:To avoid clutter, would it be possible to make the two versions into sub-options of every piece? For example:
Tights
-Classic Tights
-New Tights
*Item Name*
Legacy *Item Name*
Edit:
However, I could possibly do Option 1 IF, and only IF, David would maybe be willing to post a sample of what a new version of an old costume piece would look like. -
Quote:I agree with this. I'd much rather put up with seeing multiple of the same names if it meant I could finally have decent, single-word names. I like my character names to be iconic, not obscure jargon. I don't care if everyone else can use the same name, because I focus on my character.People have been using "creative" punctuation and extra numbers for too long. Frankly I tire of it.
It'd rather have to look at two Captain Shadows than ever see "The_Capta1n-Shad0w." thank you. It's ugly, damages suspension of disbelif and most importantly, there is no need for it. The devs have already offered to put it to bed.
If someone wants the name, they're going to use that "creative" crap to have it. So just GIVE it to them without the clutter and nonsense punctuation marks. Other than schadenfreude and being petty and childish, there's no reason not to.

Much appreciated, Leandro.
Tried to do this on my own. . . but that didn't work so well. :V
-
I'm kinda surprised that I19 is gonna be out so soon.
-
I was giggling like a school girl for the whole post, but I truly lost it at "I'm the Witch and you're the *****!" Excellent post!
-
Well I know I'm resubbing when this change rolls out.
-
I don't mind fighting Carnies, but when the bosses make themselves intangible, I rage hard.
-
I love NR's utility, but I can never bring myself to use it as a dedicated travel power because of the animation. Yuck. :X
-
What about a Fire/Kin?
. . .
Tanker, that is. -
I'd say a Scrapper trumps most if not all in terms of good solo leveling.
-
-
Maybe we should just start using various planets in our solar system to reference other MMOs. I mean, Mars is sort of a close rival to Earth, yes? And we all know what Jupiter would be.
-
Congrats.
Now get into Praetoria and DO STUFF.
-
I was thinking, instead of having to find juuuuust the right spot on the security guards that you have to click to get into most hazard zones, wouldn't it be cool if the devs put that new borderless zoning tech from Praetoria into those gates? Just stroll through that giant door in the war wall in Atlas Park and end up in the Hollows.
-
Bah, I lost interest when I found out you get bonus chances for logging in each day.
Still entered, but given I'll only have my one shot, I'm not expecting out of it.
