If there's anything more exciting than the Terra Volta trial, it's the Terra Volta trial without several of my favorite powers.
...at least they've got the schedule up ahead of time, though, rather than waiting until the last possible minute to put up the new month...
Or slip in some of the TFs they've neglected to use.
The ITF could use some love. As could Lady Grey. Or Positron/Tarakoss.
The worst part of Terra Volta for me...is the frickin reactor. I mean is it realllly necessary to have the cool-downs between waves sooo long? I ran it recently when it was the Weekly and regretted it afterwards LOL. I remember having to run it back in the day and am ever so grateful for vet and freespecs.
Ughh. More weekly which I can t get anyone to bother to do. Come on ITF, KHAN, R man, or LGTF before the constant repeating of the respec trials. Or I know maybe work on some more TF/SFs for the game....
It seems when they killed Statesman, they killed him so hard incarnations of him in other times felt it. Imperious is now huddled in the corner and crying, begging people to never do his task force.
I'd love to see the level 30-35 redside SF make the WST list one of these days...

(I know what I said.)

This could have been easily avoided if there actually were a level 30-35 SF. Get on it, devs! I can't keep making a fool of myself like this.

Why do they have the first respec three times? Why do they have Manti twice?
Why hasn't Posi been selected since last August? Why hasn't ITF been selected since January? Why isn't there something redside that gives us more options than Ice Mistral/Operative Renault (Ice Mistral/Operative Renault has been WST ***TEN/NINE TIMES***, twice that of the next highest villain SF!)

The list of possibilities for redside is, unfortunately, woefully short (what, five strike forces and three respecs, not counting co-op stuff?). And that leads to this problem coming up for both sides.
The biggest part of it, I think, is the attempt at symmetry. They make a certain thing the WST for villains, and they want to have something in the same level range for heroes. And with villains having so few options, it causes a lot of repetition on both sides as they try to keep things "even." Dropping that approach and just picking one for each side, level equality be damned, might not help redside find more variety, but it would certainly help blue. And some is better than none, I guess.
Also, for some reason it seems they're almost totally unwilling to make anything below level 20+ a WST. Has Synapse ever been the WST? I can't think of an occasion, offhand. It's been forever since either Positron TF was the WST either -- was that right after the revised version went live? To be honest, I'm kind of shocked to see the Penny Yin TF on the list, and I don't think it would be if not for it being brand-new. (This artificially-imposed limitation cuts the already-short redside list down by about a quarter, by the way.)
Of course, none of this explains why it's not the LGTF or ITF more often. In the case of the ITF, I can only assume it's because that one doesn't need any "help" -- people run it a lot anyway.
FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.
With the introduction of First Ward and Night Ward i was honestly surprised there weren't task forces given to these zones, which could have easily been added to the list of TFs available to WST.

I've been gone a few issues, what is this thread about?
Edit: Oh, the weekly strike target thing, right right.
If they do make the ITF the WST again, that would be the perfect time to put the Double EXP boosters on sale again. I know I'd buy a few, and use them.

Similarly, wasn't there a problem discovered the last time the ITF was the WST? That may or may not have been when Romulus was spawning regularly in the map with other mobs. It could have been a different problem. I don't remember exactly what the problem was but I do remember hearing about a problem of some type.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
I say this every time this issue comes up (i.e. every time they release wtf list) but why not use the mechanic they use for SSA rewards to make the first tf you run a week the wtf? Would give extra incentive to join TFs in general. Maybe it would keep me from having to load in a second account just to run a silver mantis on my low pop. server.
Yes, this could mean defacto itf every week. Yes, this could be abused with speed trees or morty. No, that wouldn't really be a big deal.

Maybe they need to make it 4 targets per week, 2 each side, that are not tied to each other so you could have more options while each week could be more than the same old variation.
You could have the Respecs + Posi/Tarikoss one week and then Respecs + Ice Mistal/Numina(?) the next week, or any other variation instead of "painfully slow hero respec + annoying vines villain respec".

YES PLEASE!
though, they would probably be paid content, like the rest of Praetoria, or restricted to "native Praetorians" for below level 20, killing practically all incentive to go there and do them because of less people paying for them and being out of the way.
